Why We Like The Kazoo Single-Speed Trailercycle
Great for getting a boost up the next hill, the Burley Kazoo Single-Speed Trailercycle is an easy way to get our kids involved. Sitting behind us in the ‘stoker’ position, our kid can hop on the trailer and learn valuable balance and pedaling skills. Built with an integrated fender, the Kazoo makes sure that any backsplash from our tires doesn't end up in our kids' lap.

Great option once children start to ride.
We love this. My 6 year old (who is very tall for age) loves this for when we go on longer rides than she is used to. It does make it more work for me to balance but I would say this is minimal and nothing that feels unsafe. The rack attachment makes a little noise, especially when I hit bumps, but this is minor. She enjoys it and feels like it is a smoother ride than the Burley bee. I installed it myself without too much trouble.

We LOVE our Kazoo! It
We LOVE our Kazoo! It was fairly easy to assemble, and attaching the Kazoo to the moose rack honestly takes 10 seconds and is so simple. My kindergartener and I have been using it to ride to school everyday and it is a game changer. SO much more fun than a regular commute by car. It is the BEST way to start the day and I know we are going to cherish these memories of riding to school together.

Doesn’t fit my bike
We got this thinking it was a pretty universal attachment- it’s not. It’s for a specific type of bike and it didn’t fit mine or 4 other bikes I tried at the bike shop. Not for me. Returned

My daughter had this bike
My daughter had this bike 25 years ago. We loved it. My niece is 3 & I bought her the same trailer bike. She & her parents love it. Couldn’t be happier. Best gift ever.

My kids are 9 and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are 9 and 6, and they love this trailer bike. We sold our cargo bike and now use this instead. My kids love riding on this, they get a kick out of pedaling and pushing me along. I added a fender to the wheel which works great. I may switch the seat post because my kids do not like the seat and it would be nice to have a seat that is easier to adjust. The ability to remove this when we get to school and allow me to finish my commute without it is why we bought this trailer bike. I love how easy it is to connect and disconnect. I also love that I can still use panniers with the trailer bike attached. The only problem with the rack is I have big feet and this rack does not allow me to shift the panniers very far back. So far my feet are not hitting the panniers, so it does work.

Fun bike for an energetic 4 year old
What a fun bike!! Our four year old LOVES riding with us. We can go farther than biking separately, and it feels so much safer since he’s right behind us. The design is sturdy, and it’s a quality product that will last with both of our kids. I only wish we had gotten it sooner to enjoy it last summer too!

Son loves it, but pain to attach rack to bike
My son loves his new ridealong. He can rage on his balance bike but isn't quite ready for his pedal bike, so this was a great in-between. (He turned 4 today.) Of note: it was a pain to attach the rack to the bike. It did NOT work on my road bike, so we had to attach it to my husband's touring/road bike, and even then we had to bend the rack's bars to make it work on the bike frame. In the end, definitely worth the extra effort. I am a little sad I can't tow my son on my own bike, though :(

Shipped with defective chain
On literally our second ride, my 8 year-old somehow managed to slip the chain straight off. On a one-speed I wouldn't have thought this was possible, but no worries. I discovered that in spite of coming straight off, the chain was so tightly set that I'd have to separate it. I'm not exactly new to bike riding myself, so I got out my chain tool to undo one of the links. The moment the chain tool started applying pressure to the pin the top of the link snapped clean off! In ten years of riding that's the first time I've ever seen that happen. Burley has a reputation for quality, but with a chain this cheap I can't see myself buying from them again.

If my child stops peddaling while on this bike trailer, will the pedals also stop even though we are still moving? I'm worried if he stops peddaling that the pedals will hit his shins...

If my e-bike (www.electricbikecompany.com) already has a back rack surrounding the battery, can the guided hitch mount to the existing rack? If so you will have the only product that works with the rising tide of e-bikes besides kid trailers.
