Why We Like The Burton Tourist Snowboard Boot
Burton's split-ready Tourist Snowboard Boot handles both the climb and the descent with prowess and confidence. Its stiff flex offers support and response for the ride, and it features more reverse flex than any of Burton's other boots for enhanced mobility on the skin track. Insulating tech keeps our feet warm while hiking through pow on pre-dawn or overnight missions.

I bought these for Touring and haven't even used them for that purpose yet; instead I was going to break in at the resort and found this was a great resort boot! Very responsive, low profile, comfortable and great heel-hold...everything I could want. As for the negative flex, the highback negates that, so I notice zero drawback there. With the low profile of these boots and my big-ish feet, I worry less about overhang. Huge plus! FWIW, I wear a 10 or 10.5 in street shoes, and the 10 fits me great...snug with big toe just barely kissing the end of the boot.
