Good conditioner, spray not so effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The spray contains the same conditioner that is not in the spray form, but the spray bottle while convenient doesn't really work that well. Right out of the box it didn't spray at all but after some priming it started spraying only on a straight stream. Not so easy to apply unless you use a cloth, which defeats the purpose of a spray.

The ONLY product I use on my cast iron cookware! I’ve been using it for years and never had an issue with sticking, pitting, or residual taste! I HIGHLY recommend it!

Love The Conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy this conditioner all the time along with4 the squeeze tube. They are interchangeable. What I really like the spray bottles for is my grill boxes and smoker. So much easier to heat them up and spray them down then to rub the tube glob on them heated. Both bottle and tube are in my cast cupboard and camping supplies. Live them.

Not happy with the purchase
I was so disappointed the first time I tried to use this. It would not squeeze out, even my husband couldn't get it to come out. He cut the opening a bit larger and I still have trouble getting it out. I put the tube on the counter and push as hard as I can with both hands - I'll get a dab out to be enough to use but it's a huge pain. Did the conditioner harden n the tube? Or is it really old? I may just go back to using an oil.

Easy to use
I've been using this product for years for my cast iron pan and it has let me down so far. The pan stays non-stick and easy to clean. No rust either.

Please Advertise Ingredients List
I'm sure this conditioner works as great as all of the other Camp Chef products but I cannot I cannot comment on the performance of this product because I cannot use it due to its ingredients. This product contains, amongst other things, Macadamia Nut Oil. I have family members with nut allergies. I do not see any ingredients disclosure in the product listing. This would very helpful to know before purchasing.

The perfect tool for keeping cast iron in top cond
An essential for keeping your cast iron and blue steel pans in excellent condition. I have used this product for over 5 years and I own several pans that are in daily use. I have recommended this to my friends and colleagues.

Camp Chef Cast Iron Conditioner
This is one of the few products on the market that actually works! Without it, I doubt I’d ever use my cast iron skillets, and I just love those skillets. I just put a thin layer of conditioner on the skillet after washing, put it on the stovetop burner on high, when it starts to smoke, take it off, and nothing ever sticks.

Cleaned my cast iron skillet and applied the conditioner. Do I need to put it in a oven set the conditioner?
February 8, 2020
I've found an old cast skillet that our Mom had when we were kids. It was in a garage; a bit of rust inside/out. I'm thinking of first scuffing the whole thing with "fine" steel wool, then "cleaning/conditioning" the inside. Can I also do the exterior?

Does the conditioner contain any corn oil or corn byproducts. We have allergys to corn.
