Why We Like The Everest 2X Mountain Series Stove
Camp Chef redesigned the Everest 2X Mountain Series Stove with a sleeker style that still holds all the features that made the original Everest a staple in our weekend camping arsenal. It still holds two 20K burners fitted with matchless ignitions and appliance-like temperatures controls. Our favorite feature is the integrated drip tray that lets us clean out the stove quickly and efficiently.

So-so
We’ve been happy either our Camp Chef up until the last few months. Our stove is just over a year old and the propane totally blows out the end of the arm. In reviews, the replacement arm won’t work unless you have a sealing ring. So far, I can’t find that certain part. This was the most expensive stove we’ve bought, so we’re pretty disappointed.

Ever chef
Bought this because couldn’t get any stove fuel for my 45 year old Coleman and was on day -1 before hurricane helene. Worked like a champ, easy to set up, burns clean. The bottle set up is a little weird, but overall love this stove. We worked it hard for 11 days straight.

Works well!

I'm pretty happy with the cooking I've done on this stove so far. Note that you seem to need a specialized hose to hook up a bulk propane tank - a generic hose I bought at a hardware store seemed to fit, but leaked dangerously. I've seen comments that the piezo lighter doesn't work at high altitude, but that wasn't the case for me at 7500 feet.

Great stove
A fine camp stove, quick lighting and powerful burners at 20,000 BTUs each. For comparison, the largest burner on a home gas stove is usually 20,000 BTUs. Folds up nicely and works flawlessly. A solid purchase.

Love it.
Great control of heat, easy starts and love the clip-down windshields. We did go through a lot more propane than on our last stove with burners turned up way higher than needed.

It’s a stove
This stove is about the same as anything else you would buy. It really should have a handle to carry it. The burners are nice and hot but I struggle when it comes to keeping it at a simmer. I’m not disappointed with it but nothing about it blows me away either.

Better than my kitchen stove

It set the bar so high, we now hate out kitchen stove at home. We can cook better camping than we can at home.

Great stove!

I love this stove. I wanted one that was big enough for my 12 inch cast iron and 10 inch fry pan with room to spare. Plus, it has a great simmer feature!

Outstanding Stove!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are multi day rafters and overlanders and climbers. This is the best double burner table top stov3 we have ever used. These two 20,000btu burners are outstanding with tons of power and control. Make an Everest 1X and people will love it too! Same burning, and 1X smaller package!

Recently bought this stove. It is excellent. But there are holes on the bottom as though there should be feet attached. Where can I get feet!

Hi Camp Chef! I was wondering, will this Everest 2x fit two, 10.25" cast iron pans, since the walls of cast iron pans flare out a little bit (not straight up and down)?? Thanks so much!!! :)
