I just received the Lodge Hooded Jacket. I believe I have been looking for the perfect coat for years and I have found it! The size guide is fairly accurate. I am 5’5”, 125 pounds, chest 36/37, waist 31/32, hips 37/38 and sleeve length 31/32. I ordered the size small and it fits perfectly. I live in the Midwest with winter temperatures averaging 20-30 degrees F. This jacket is extremely warm and the hood is well insulated. I recommend the matte black and the red sleeve emblem is very smart looking. It’s true that you get what you pay for and quality certainly has its price. Do yourself a favor and buy this jacket before you buy three other cheaper coats that won’t remotely compare. My only regret is that I didn’t just buy this jacket sooner. P.S. you can’t beat the lifetime guarantee. Thank you Canada Goose and Backcountry. You made my day.

Below expectations
I received this jacket in a plastic bag and the package seem cheap. Once I wore it, I felt the material was too puffy and note a slim fit as advertised. I?m 6?0 and 190 athletic build and the large size didn?t feel right. I ordered the red mate but it?s not really a mate and it?s more like a lifeguard red which didn?t look as expected. I sent it back and considering other options.

Great coat with little flash

Nice warm jacket with a fit that?s on point. Slimmer fit and jacket falls at about the waist line. I ordered a size large and I?m roughly 200 pounds and 5?7ft. It fits very well for what it?s designed to do. Love the 2 side pockets and can?t live without the front zippered pocket. The matte finish makes it not stand out from other Canada Goose products which was a plus for me. The hood could also use some work. It?s a jacket I?m very comfortable wearing around town and in the house but not one that I would grab off the rack to go backpacking or do anything serious outside.

Nice jacket but is mines fake?
I just received this jacket in size M and color black. This is the new model 5078m. So did anyone who purchase this jacket came in a Canada goose box? Mine came inside a Canada goose plastic wrapper. Also is the Canada goose patch on the left arm supposed to be centered or is it supposed to lean more towards the front. Mine is more towards the front. And lastly, does anyone else have a tag labeled 180/100Y under the size tag with in my case is M/M. Thank you.

Great purchase. Only need to buy one of these in your lifetime. Insanely warm and comfortable. Also, very very light and the whole thing condenses to a camping pillow if all else ever fails haha. Overall, highly recommend this jacket. Looks much better on yourself than the model in the picture lol, it looks short on the model.
