Broken Zipper

Bought it as a Christmas gift and they loved it but after only a few uses the zipper broke. I reached out to backcountry to have it returned and they said it was past the 30 day window and now currently going through Canada Goose on having the jackets zipper fixed. Now technically the jacket did arrive December 19 and today is January 19th so it has been 31 days which is past the 30 day warranty. But they made me shoot them photos and if it was a Christmas gift the package wasnt even opened until December 25th. I think with a jacket this expensive they would have taken care of the issue. I was surprised.
