Why We Like The eeSILK Plus Alloy Suspension Seatpost
Gravel can get rough and rowdy, which is why Cane Creek designed the eeSILK Plus Alloy Suspension Seatpost to offer a lighter weight, high-performance option that reduces chatter and fatigue. This post can be tuned to rider weight through a simple elastomer change, and an aluminum construction both improves lightness and increases durability. It's a performance suspension seatpost designed to add comfort and compliance to any bike, and it's great for riders who seek out mixed surfaces in a big mile day.

Best suspension seat for all road riding

- I've put it through the wringer

This seatpost solves the issues I have had with the other competitors. It is lighter and has the right level of travel for the rough roads around my area. The setback is also consistent through the travel so that bike fit remains true. The elastomer does create a little bit of a bounce feeling when returning from a big bump, but not something that is bothersome. In fact, after a short ride, I no longer was aware of any bounce feeling on rough surfaces. I have used the original eesilk and loved it! But it just wasn?t enough travel for some of the rougher roads. The shockstop seatpost is on my other bike. It is wonderful, but heavier and requires lots of fiddling to set up and tune. If you have a gravel bike or ride occasionally on rough roads, this seatpost is worth twice its weight in gold for the comfort factor. The weight increase compared to a stiff carbon post is negligible when compared to the energy you save from no longer having to brace for every little road impact. Saved energy means you can go faster and farther and get home less sore and fatigued! Get it! You won?t regret it.
