I never even heard of Cain Creek until the other day. I picked up a Specialized Stumpjumper E-bike from a dude that couldn’t ride it anymore. The front shock was Rockshox and honestly I’m surprised they put their name on that piece of junk. I’m a fairly aggressive rider doing large rock drops, dusty trails and steep root covered climbs. So I need a shock I can trust. My e bike is about 60lbs, I’m 5’10” 200 riding lbs. So after a 15% discount I bought the limited edition MKII 29er. About a week later it arrived and I took it to my local bike guy who installed it with 1 spacer and set up the settings for me. I took it out for a solo test ride and I was impressed. I hit a small rock feature about 2’ tall with about a 70 to 80% incline, I hit it with a fair amount of speed and it completely compressed the shock, I don’t think it bottomed it out but I rolled over it like a champ! Long story short I strongly recommend the shock and Cain Creek has a new fan.

Upgraded from a Fox38 because the 38 was so harsh. Big improvement. The fork absorbs a lot more impact while still feeling solid and supportive. Front end feels lighter and has a lot more feel. Handling is sharper.
