I bought these for cold weather hikes in Minnesota. When they arrived I thought they looked good—high quality and color as shown. But when I went outside in 12 degree weather, my hands were immediately cold. Like cold enough to feel the wind through the fabric. Had I taken these on my hike I would have gotten severe frost bite. Oddly, the fingerless gloves with the little cotton flop top kept my hands warmer. For north Texas, I’m sure these are great, but for a cold weather state with snow, these are a hard pass. Bummer Carhartt. Super disappointing product.
