Great coat to stay warm.
I bought this coat because I recently got a part time job working on a dock. I hate being cold and I get cold very easy, so I needed a good coat to stay warm. I will say this jacket does its job and I do not get cold throughout the night. The inside is very soft, and the coat is very durable.

Perfect Size
If your 6ft+ feel like size large is the perfect fit in my opinion.

The tool is not accurate for what the question is asking. Fit is true to size and everything else is excellent.
Excellent quality. Great style! Very durable,we've already had to wash it twice because it's fabulous to work in snowy cold weather. wash as well and is great to keep warm when you're outside

Men's Sherpa-Lined Jacket
Great fit. For a tall, I love the length. Super warm! It's great having 5 pockets. It would have been nice to have left chest pocket 1 inch deeper for my android phone. I'm a little worried about the zipper. It's not easy to get it started, so it feels like I have to be very careful on the first few inches. One week after my purchase, I got an email offering me 40% off winter jackets, of course. All in all, I'm happy so far.

You can never go wrong with Carhartt!
Ordered two XL for employee and director of the year. Both work in maintenance and both loved these jackets. Had hospital logo added above pocket. XL had plenty of room and was long enough. Both probably around 5'10". Would definitely purchase again.

Ordered usual size, but it was too big, so exchanged for one size down.

Great jacket, great fit, even my hands in the pockets stay warm because the pockets are lined too. Very comfortable; the hood is huge.

Get it!
Best all-around jacket for temperatures from roughly 20-60 degrees Fahrenheit for me* which is most of the fall/winter in the mid-Atlantic region of the US where I live. The jacket is big enough to layer under, the lining is cozy and comfortable, it's very easy to sling on and off quickly, super durable and easy to clean, and contains your own warmth well so if you're physically active outside you may still be comfortable at even lower temps. Hood is nice and big, plenty of room for a winter hat underneath, and it's structurally strong so provides a good bill for the rain/snow to keep it out of your eyes and face. It's my #1 go-to jacket for the winter and I've worn it all winter season for 3 years and counting with no signs of wear or tear. *Carhartt intentionally doesn't specifically mention temperatures in their warmth ratings because it varies from person to person, but I think some guidance beyond "warm/warmer/warmest" is warranted.
