Got burned
I wouldn’t wear this again for sun protection. I never left the house without this on and still got a bad sunburn on my upper back. I was outside and in the water for ~6 hours. I’m so shocked. I wear these instead of sunscreen to protect reefs and be extra safe from skin cancer but it’s not effective.

Versatile piece, lovely weight to fabric
I have this in Black L and XL, and change up the size depending on the activity I'm looking to do. It's very easy to zip up, i LOVE the top down/bottom up dual zipper (for those of us with hips that don't lie), and the zippered pockets are a very nice touch. For the price point, this is a steal of a deal. Fabric is nice and light-weight, and it has a little sheen to the fabric, but nothing too "much." For me, the sleeves are too long on me, but most sleeves are and they're easy to push/roll up and they stay. I think it's a little unnecessary to have a huge "carve designs" logo on the end of the sleeve, because with this piece in particular, I'd probably wear it out to dinner as a coverup if it weren't for that. But certainly recommend for those looking to get stylish, comfortable sun protection and not have to slather on the sunscreen every two hours! Thank you, Carve Designs, for being so thoughtful and conscientious with your manufacturing, quality and styles.

Comfortable and high quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love the quality and versatility of this. Plan on wearing as a layer for travel to Hawaii and using it as a rash guard for snorkeling and other water sports. I got a size medium which is the size I usually am these days in tops. Fits well but not form fitting. I think if I’d gone down in size it wouldn’t been too small, so I’m happy with the fit.

Very comfortable and functional!
Technically these zip front sun shirts are great! Lightweight, cool and comfortable with pockets large enough for a phone. Would like to see in rich new colors, like emerald green, aqua, coral etc. Contrasting color on the zipper and/or cuffs and collar would be nice as well as darker vertical side panels for a slimming effect.

This is my second lake
This is my second lake Sun shirt and it's so nice. It's winter here in Colorado but I wore it this weekend as a post gym cool down layer. I bought the bouquet color and it's gorgeous. I really like it for water sports and for hiking in the summer time.

Love it!!
Love it! I am going on a cruise for the first time and will need this for the excursions. I have owned one for 8 years now and the only reason I needed a new one is because I have out grown it, LOL! So I can’t wait to use this one - I trust I will have no problems and will look amazing :)
