Decent Short
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I'm 5'7" and 165 pounds and purchased this bib short (XL) and the Castelli Espresso bib short (XL) as well. The Entrata 2 fit is fine They are a good hot weather short, but wish there was a bit more support around the thighs. The Kiss 2 pad is good only up to 2 hours of riding and after that the cushion experience slowly degrades. However, I found the Kiss 2 pad performed better than the Prgretto X2. YMMV. Next purchase will be Assos GTS bib shorts.

Great bib without breaking the bank. I found it super comfortable, great material, the seams are well made. The chamois is comfortable enough for longer rides. The sizing is correct, I found on the sizing chart where I should be and voila, perfect size, I’m 5’8” , 185 lbs and ordered an XL, my normal size on trousers and jeans is a 33 but this runs small, so be aware, measure yourself and look at the chart, (first time I had to return them).

I have worn a medium in all clothing my adult life and these are not even close. I would say they run very small, not just somewhat small. Costs me $6.99 to try again, which is a little annoying. Hope a better review is coming!

Very good bib once you find your size
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This bib short is very comfortable and the Castelli quality is good despite is the 'Entrata' or entry level item. After reading most of the reviews here indicating that Castelli apparel runs very small, I realised that typical size I wear (Large 'L') will not fit well, hence contacted the Competitive Cyclist team (via chat) and they suggested not one size larger but two so, I ended purchasing the bib short size XL which fits me very well.

Wow - runs small ... even for Castelli
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I purchased these bibs after reading the reviews with the anticipation that the 'size' issue wasn't necessarily a significant issue ... I was wrong. I usually purchase a large bib from most manufacturers, but Castelli I always order up to an XL. This purchase I did the same, an XL. Unfortunately, the XL was too small! The shoulder straps (like others mentioned) were too short and dug into my shoulders. The bib itself was very tight and way too uncomfortable. It looks like I'll have to look elsewhere for my bib.

the Chamois absolutely is the star here, ZERO saddle pain, the material also allows for you to move around your saddle with ease, not super tacky. I regret not getting more of these and hope its an item they will re-stock, its that good.

Excellent Bibs
- Familiarity:

Some riders had some issues with the shorts, but not me. Perhaps body type is relevant. I'm pretty thin and these shorts fit me perfectly. Chamois is extremely comfortable and held up great for 2 hot humid rides over 90 miles. The straps are snug, but I didn't find them uncomfortable or even noticeable after a a short while.

Not good
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
As others said the straps are too short for the body and very narrow. The big problem is the pad, which is fairly comfortable but is perforated and absorbs tons of water. After washing they are still sopping wet 2 days later. These are very poor quality sadly

Bib Straps Too Short
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
As usual, I sized up to a large on these bibs, I'm a medium for any other brand. Fit is typical Castelli, very form fitting, the pad and overall fit is good, but the bib straps are way too short, and I'm only 5' 10". Straps are very uncomfortable. This may not be an issue for shorter riders, but definitely an issue for taller riders. I ordered the next model up, the Competitizone, which has a similar fit, but more generous bib straps that don't dig into my shoulders. I'm returning these and keeping the Competitizone bibs.
