WOW way too tight even for tights
- Size Bought:
- small
picked small as 5ft 8 138 lbs all my clothes are size small and this is cycling specific wear from a great company . I have a ton of Castelli suff. No way you could get these on over bibs. Size up FOR SURE. I think the quality and design etc are fine.

Good and bad

I still prefer the tights over bibs system. I get to use older bibs with a hole or two (instead of just throwing them away), and have a pair of tights for running or as a base layer for really cold days in the stands. I wouldn't call these deep winter tights, nor are they lightweight, and that's what I was hoping for. The light brushed lining is sufficient down to about 35 degrees. Now to the sizing. As most have expressed, Castelli is off in their sizing (in just about everything). I sized up, knowing they run small. My legs are a little disproportionately longer to my torso, but the tight legs are still a little longer. Oddly, yes the waist is smaller than it should be. As an 'as fit as can be' middle aged cyclist, this thing is better suited to a teenage wet noodle. It's not restrictive, but you will notice it. A waist tie would be a better system. Ankle zippers are clutch and the price is reasonable. Still, I appreciate that someone still makes a non chamois cycling tight, and unless some company comes out with something else, going to ride with this one. Craft of Sweden usually makes some XC ski tights that could double for cycling.

Excellent Cycle Tights
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have found these excellent. Seem a little on the small size for the marked size but very comfortable once on. I like the high waist and fitting in this area. Able to pull up and fit well in place. No tendency to drop and allow lower back to be exposed and get cold.

Run extremely small
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I was not sure how to give a star rating. The tights seem well made but run so small I could not get them on. According to the size chart I should have ordered a size medium, knowing Castelli I orderd a large but still too small. I could not get them past my hips.

Castelli Entrata Tight Sizing Problem
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- xxl
- Weight:
- 175
Ridiculously small waist, I could not pull them over my knees! I have other Castelli shorts and tights in 2XL and they fit fine. These were laughably way too small in the waist. Like kids clothing. Sent them back. Castelli makes great clothing and It's all I wear for cycling these days. They really need to get their act together with sizing and standardize it across the board. I can't imaging how many lost sales and customers they have had because of odd szing. 6 ft tall, 175 lbs, normal build, low body fat, cyclist.
