Rosso Corsa Espresso Glove
With the Rosso Corsa Espresso Glove, Castelli's main focus was making the glove easier to get on and off. To do so, the brand sought out high-stretch engineered materials and designed an easy to open cuff. It also identified key hand positions and strategically placed its Castelli Damping System, providing an extra layer of protection for the nerves in the hands and to help reduce road chatter. This addresses the common problem of occasional hand numbness associated with gripping the handlebar for extended periods of time. By mapping key parts of the hand, it's able to create the optimal level of protection shielding you from road vibration while also reducing bulk. Final details include the textured mesh construction and large thumb wipe area making this glove one of our favorites.

Well worth it
- Familiarity:

I rode these all last year with the same pair - 4000 miles. They have the best useful/effective but not noticeable padding system of any glove. I wore them through very hot to cool conditions. You just forget you have them on. And if the gloves holds up to 4000 miles of riding, that's a good glove. These lasted longer than anything I've had before. As for sizing - they start snug and then stretch to a perfect fit. I've worn large in Castelli gloves for at least a decade and these for the same and are true to the measurement.

Not worth the money

The gloves fit nice and snug throughout, which is great except that they (for me anyway) run small between the fingers. On my last 40 mile ride my hands got rather numb and I felt every bit of road vibration, I found myself wishing I had been wearing my cheaper Pearl Izumis or Giros.

You'll never go back to cheaper gloves
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought these to just to see how Castelli could have the nerve to charge $60 for short finger gloves, thinking that I'd return them once I had proven them to be overpriced folly. No such luck. Every short finger glove you own is cheaper and inferior to the Rosso in every way - fit, comfort, and durability. I have great Giros and Pearl Izumi's that I never wear because the Rosso is just so much better. It's like deciding to ride Dura Ace; once you do there's no going back. Remember, if you buy these you will not ride with a cheaper glove - EVER.

Not worth the price
- Familiarity:

I have put about 200 miles on these gloves so far so I think I can give a fair assessment. These gloves are form fit. No velcro strap. Not sure if the elastic will hold up over the long haul. The padding is adequate. One area where I have a problem is the web space betwixt the thumb and second finger. But this a problem across multiple gloves I have tried. The terry sweat area is rather skimpy and awkwardly positioned. In summary, these are adequate gloves but not worth the nearly $60 price tag. I feel the specialized gloves are about as good and a lot cheaper. I'll probably return to using those.

Great Piece of Gear!

These are a bit pricey but I wanted to try something that does not have velcro. These are extremely light and very shock absorbing. Extremely comfortable in the West Texas heat and, echoing what others have said, I forget that I am wearing them. I have worn them for twice-daily training rides for weeks and they appear to be highly durable - no signs of excess wear or failure. I have not yet washed them but will update any wash-related issues. I have purchased a second pair as "back-up" (just in case...).

Great gloves
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought these to replace some Gira gloves I recently purchased which ripped a seam in less than 4 months of mostly indoor use. These gloves are great, you forget you're wearing them as they fit well and have padding in just the right places. While they are snug the fact they don't have a Velcro flap actually adds to the comfort and lightweight feeling. I've used many gloves from various manufacturers and these are definitely one of the best.

Very comfy if you like thick padding

- Size Bought:
- Medium
Excellent gloves. Surprisingly comfortable in the heat given the thick padding?the thin back fabric helps with that. Fit is great, snug but comfortable. I sized somewhat down to a Medium for a close fit given no adjustment on the back and am glad I did. The padding is certainly thick enough to notice. It's a strange sensation if you're used to thin gloves but makes a difference on longer rides.
