A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
I wasn't sure what to expect--Chacos came recommended by several websites and a long-term use review. I had never even heard of this brand before, but the proclaimed versatility and arch support had me intrigued. I've honestly never had a better sandal. The nylon straps are shockingly comfortable, and the support is super comfortable--especially since I have flat feet. No regrets!

Check your Chacos for defects!
Check your Chacos for defects!! I've been reading all over the internet what great sandals Chaco makes, and i can see the potential they have, but when I slipped my first pair ever on, my experience was definitely disappointing. The left sandal fit me ok (if not a bit tight). The right sandal however, gave me problems right away. The size 9 I received, felt like a size 7. I know both feet aren't always matching sizes, but my feet aren't that wildly different! I couldn't figure out why until I broke out the measuring tape and found that the right strap (the one that starts at the pinky-toe and goes to the back arch) is about 1 inch shorter than the one on the left. These straps are bound to the sole, there is no give. There is no adjusting it. I'll be returning these. Z/2 9M

Great sandals; too long pull strap.
Like my 2 other pairs of Chacos, a nice pair of sandals. Only thing that prevented 5 stars is the too-long pull strap that flops around when walking.

Wish I bought them sooner
Once you get them adjusted and broke in they are like waking in clouds. They will cut off circulation to your big toe if not adjusted correctly though.

Smell
Luv the sandal comfort but, being in Pool - Hot Tub Repair biz I find they stink badly when feet been exposed to water repeatedly. Looked for antibacterial sandal & couldn't find them
