What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Big Bay 20°F Sleeping Bag is my go-to for camping when temperatures drop. Its spacious design is perfect for taller campers like me, and I love the added warmth from the cinchable hood and draft tube. Plus, the foot ventilation is a lifesaver for those warmer nights."

When cold nights call for extra comfort, the Coleman Big Bay 20°F Big & Tall Contour Sleeping Bag delivers warmth and space. Designed with Coletherm™ Max insulation, this sleeping bag retains heat even when temperatures dip to 20°F, making it ideal for chilly camping trips or backyard stargazing.

The Big Bay's contoured design with a cinchable hood doubles as a cozy headrest, while the Thermolock™ draft tube ensures no warmth escapes through the zipper. Need to cool down? Love this thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Big Bay Sleeping Bag! It is comfortable and very easy to use. Perfect for camping or just making a make shift bed in the house when company is over. I would definitely get another one if the need arises to have more than one sleeping bag.

Great sleeping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag is awesome. The bag is plenty big enough so you have room to move and don’t feel like you can’t move once you zip it up. The sleeping bag is plenty warm enough so you don’t need anything else with the sleeping bag. It comes with a neat hood also if you are where it is freezing.

Comfortable and Warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely pleased with this sleeping bag. Great workmanship and material quality. The bag is roomy and spacious,( I don't like feeling confined), yet keeps me warm with no cold air pockets. And I like to foot venting. The "no-snag" zipper is the best I've ever seen, all other sleeping bags I've owned snag. The opening on the compression sack that came with it is a little too small but I had a spare and use it. Definitely recommend this bag!!

Best all-around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Somewhere along the way, I lent my sleeping bag to a friend and it never made its way back home. This Big Bay sleeping bag is great for a weekend getaway, spring through fall. Perfect for every member of your family. It is both plenty warm and cool, but as such it does not pack quite as compact or lightweight as its high-tech, summer counterparts. Think of it as a bit of extra padding. I liken it to holding a koala in its size, weight and even color. Have I ever held a koala? No, but just imagine.

Cozy and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been able to use this on one camping trip so far. I am 6 feet 2 inches and had no problem fitting into this. Manufacturer states it can accommodate upto 6 feet 5 inches. I really love the option for foot ventilation. When I camped it was about 50° and I was very warm. This is rated to 20°F. I felt that it kept the warmth in really well. I am looking forward for using this in colder temperatures one day. So far very happy with the product.

Great Comy awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got back from a camping trip with the family. Used my big bay sleeping bag. Temperatures were in the low 40’s. I was not at all cold. I was actually very toasty. I had to unzip bc my body heat was making it to hot inside. I love that if needed it covers ur head. Also love that it comes with built in setup to roll up for storage. Is lightweight and also comfy. I was sleeping with Molly a plastic sheet between bag and ground. Highly recommend this bag to everyone that camps or is need of a overall great product. I am going out to get two more for my children .

Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Big Bay sleeping bag is awesome! Great quality! This is definitely roomier than a standard sleeping bag. I love that it is so lightweight so it’s easy to carry. It also rolls up easily enough which is a timesaver!

Big, thick and warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 6'4" so I always have a hard time finding camping equipment that fits me. Enter: this big beautiful sleeping bag by Coleman. This thing is HUGE! I'm a skinny tall guy, but this sleeping bag could fit almost two of me! It's really soft and plush which will also be really helpful for those nights where my boney hips find the ground and I pull the all night rotisserie chicken sleep... the one where you constantly rotate to take the pressure off ground. I haven't had a chance to use this in its rated 20 degree environment, but I can tell it'll keep me plenty warm. I also love that it's got a hood that will keep my head warm or act as a little pillow. It also has this great foot vent for those of us that get a little claustrophobic. It even comes with a cool compression bag that cinches it down tight and compact. The only potential drawback would be that I don't think it would be a great long distance hiking sleeping bag. I haven't done the multi-day, multi-mile, pack-in, pack-out type of camping, but I imagine this thing would get heavy after a while of carrying it. Don't get me wrong, I could totally bring this thing on a couple mile hike to camp for the night, but I don't think it's for those intense hikers that file down their toothbrush to reduce pack weight. Another word of warning: I tried to rip off the huge tag at the bottom of the sleeping bag and ended up ripping the stitching at the foot of the bag. Either cut it or get good at sewing. For my needs, this is the best sleeping bag I have ever owned and fits tall guys perfectly.
