Easy setup but problem with material
Weekend get away. The floor ripped and when packing ripped again. The carrier bag is of very poor material and bottom seams split. However it was easy to put up. Had to repair with fabric tape in several places on our first use.

Poor design. Not waterproof!
Bought this Coleman skylodge 8 person instant tent and was really impressed how fast you can assemble and dissamble. The problem is the quality of the seams are not that great. After using this tent second time the seems start to ripped specially on the roof side. The second issue I noticed is the lower part of the tent is not waterproof. The materials they used from the upper vs the lower part of the tent is different. Lower part is not waterproof so water penetrates inside and our stuff is getting wet on the worst part is the rainfly that can easily solved this issues is too small and it's only covering the top portion of the tent. I wish they just make the rainfly in full size tent like the other coleman version. This is only 3 months old and I want to get this replaced with a different style as this one is a fail. we have to cancel the rest of our booking on that day.

Used once for overnight car camping trip. Pro: Very roomy, able to fit two queen air mattresses with room to spare. Plenty of space for family of four. At 6'3" plenty of head room. Con: Material does feel a bit cheap. Completely ok at this price point. Coleman also makes a version that is easier to set up for about $350, with almost identical name. Had I realized the difference I may have bought that version instead. Setup takes about 20 mins, breakdown about 10. Probably could get faster with time. Overall, happy with purchase. Don't plan to use it a ton and the price is right. I did not have rain or heavy wind to stress test it. I would buy again, may splurge for the faster to set up model though. Really like the tall space for headroom. Great for car camping. Would not use for backpacking.

Leaks from all side in rain
I received this tent as a replacement for another instant tent but this one is the worst tent I ever used, always I trusted Coleman brand but last 2 tents have horribly failed my expectations. I am writing from the Campground where I am using this tent. Last night it rained, it was not a heavy rain but rained for couple of hours & then today morning. This tent leaked from all around not at just one or two spot, even rain fly was leaking.

Great Tent, fit a family of 4!

I would absolutely suggest this tent for any family camping trip. We used this for a scouts trip to Gettysburg and all the little tie backs and zippers were perfect to allow full airflow or lock her down. We fit 2 air mattresses and two sleeping bags perfectly with room for movement. Love this tent!
