Boots for winter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good fit, comfortable, and easy walking. Not stiff like other insulated boots

Warm and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are very warm and comfortable. I have not worn them for hours out in the snow, so I’m not sure how waterproof they are. I bought them to wear while working, I live in the mountains in snowy conditions. But, I’m rarely working out in the snow for long period. So far they work for me.

Great boots that don't feel clumsy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered these before a trip to Tromso, Norway. First of all, I ordered two sizes (10.5 and 11); I wasn't sure what the sizing was like and wanted to make sure I had the right size. After wearing them both for a considerable amount of time around the house, I decided to go with the bigger size. The smaller pair fit, but left little room for my feet to breathe. While in Norway, I put about 40 miles on the boots. The weather was wet and snowy with temps typically around 0-5 degrees Fahrenheit. They kept my feet warm and dry and were quite stable in slippery conditions. I had only one experience where my feet froze. We were on a boat in some harsh conditions. My toes were frozen! I think it was mostly due to them being warm and becoming damp. Then with lack of movement around the boat, my feet were able to become cold. Overall, I've been very happy with this purchase and have easily put an additional 20 miles on them. I would definitely recommend them. Possibly buy a half size larger than you normally where for typical shoes.

Best winter boots I've owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Buffalo and temps go below 0. I needed a boot that I could stand in for 12+ hours in the cold and these have been great so far. I will say, if you're wearing double layer wool, you NEED to size up 1.5 or 2 sizes. I needed to return the 1 size up and I wish I went a full 2 instead of 1.5. I know it says they add room for heavy socks, but it simply isn't the case.

From Boomer to Gen Zer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered a pair of the Columbia Expeditionist boots for my son-in-law after a trip to Norway with him where his old boots failed spectacularly. My daughter claimed that he wouldn’t wear them because winter boots are heavy and uncomfortable. He wore them all day, all three days he was visiting and through the airport back to Germany. My husband didn’t like the looks of the boot but I coaxed him to try them on…. Wow, I just ordered him the same pair👍

Deeply insulating and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots have a fantastic feel in the snow. I live in Buffalo and need a boot I can be out for 12+ hours in close 0 degree weather. These are those boots at a reasonable price. I did dock 1 star for the following reason - they state they take into account extra size for wearing single/double layer wool sock. This simply isn't true and others have mentioned in their reviews. I sized up massively at 1 1/2 sizes & double layer wool barely fits, which as you know isn't great for air flow. I would size up at bare minimum at least 1 size for single layer (which should be the base) and 2 sizes for double layer. These are "true to size" boots and do not take into account wool sock wearing.

Good product for 0 degree Celsius temperature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is good boot after 1st test during hunting trip. Cons Good warmth for low temperature , waterproof, fit and comfort Pros It's side rubber wall is weak and any sharp edge item can penetrate leaving empty hole especially when hiking. Won't recommend it for mud areas.

Best snow boots I ever had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best winter boots I ever had. I needed a good set of boots for my travel to Vail, CO. These boots were great, warm and comfy. The temperature was between 12-35 F and these boots did the job just fine. I only used these boots for 5 days so I’m not sure about the quality yet, if they are going to last me few years!? I’d like to assume they are durable and will last me few years. They are also stylish and I got a lot of compliments :)
