Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pictures look better than real shoes. Compared to another pair a month before, this model doesn’t look as good quality and as comfortable, probably its tongue ruins the whole shoe. I wouldn’t wear it for hiking.

Good hiking shoes and affordable price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for water proof shoes and this one popped up in my search. It was on sale so I decided to give it a try, plus Columbia is a highly trusted brand for hiking accessories. The color is pretty in person and I tested it during my hike by crossing the shallow river. It was water proof outside. However, the bottom is not really anti slippery but does the job balancing me while hiking on rocks and rough are. Left shoe was a little snug and firm than the right one, even after I adjusted the laces. Maybe it needs to be worn more to be more flexible. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Comfy and waterproof
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these because I have an upcoming trip to Alaska. I broke them in already and they are very comfortable and passed the puddle test so far!

These are not waterproof!!!
I bought this back in June for a trip to Alaska September 1. I bought them because they are supposed to be waterproof. I’ve worn them occasionally to break them in-but it has been dry until yesterday. I got caught in a pouring rain, and my feet were soaked-and it seems like they are going to take forever to dry. I’ve had other leather waterproof boots from Columbia, and they were great. I went with the mesh style because they are lighter. I don’t know what I’m going to do as I dont have time to shop for another pair before I go to Alaska and it is their rainy season.

Game-Changer for Secure Hiking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Columbia hiking shoes for a couple of weeks, and they've already outperformed my previous pairs. On a recent trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons, I noticed a huge difference. My old hiking shoes would slip on wet rocks, and my foot would often slip out, making me feel unstable. With these Columbias, I felt secure and confident—no slipping, just solid traction and a snug fit. If you're tired of shoes that don't hold up, these are a game-changer. Highly recommended! They do run a bit longer than expected, giving my toes some extra wiggle room, but I've found that it actually enhances stability on hikes.

Long and narrow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered 4 different pairs of waterproof shoes. This pair was longer than the other 8 1/2's, and the most narrow. I didn't keep them.

Comfortable but Not True to Size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have worn a couple times and they're not bad. Was expecting more padding and a bit more comfort on hikes. Also, I'd recommend going down half a size, they're a little big.

Great shoe!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for traveling in Rome. Absolutely worth it! Grip on steep hills, grip on wet slippery surfaces, and comfort for walking on uneven roads. These shoes did the job!
