Durable and Affordable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Durable, waterproof and comfortable. This is the 2nd time pair I have purchased after many miles of wear. Warm enough to wear in the winter.

Feet stay dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves these shoes! I chose to get him the waterproof ones instead of the other hiking shoes prior to what he had before. He said they are very comfortable and wore them in the rain and his feet stayed dry.

Comfortable walking shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the shoe and it is very comfortable. The only problem is that the left shoe leaks water at the toe. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Good for everyday and hiking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect fit. Comfortable and sturdy, I wore these on a 6 mile trail hike about a week after breaking them in and they were great.

Squeeky sole.
Left shoe has a squeeky sole. I won't be wearing these during my ninja excursions.

Nice Shoe but Waterproof Design Failure
Purchased in March 2024 as a multipurpose shoe for a trip to France. First, I really liked this shoe. It fit well (8.5 W), is attractive for a variety of settings, durable, comfortable. However, this was also purchased for its "waterproof" claim, for which it has been a failure. If walking on damp pavement in light rain with no splash up, it is fine, but so is almost every other casual shoe that I own. With its low profile, I didn't have unreasonable expectations, but found myself with soaked feet several times when caught in moderate/heavy rain or anytime that water splashes to the top of the shoe. The issue I discovered is there was no gusseting fabric connecting the tongue and upper to prevent water from running in the top, which should be a basic feature of any shoe claiming to be waterproof. Interestingly, my spouse purchased this shoe a few months before and her shoe did have gusseting present. As a positive, Columbia Warranty Service provided a full credit after I filed a claim and returned the shoe at my expense. Regardless, I would much have preferred a better designed version of this otherwise good shoe. In asking a Q&A question recently, Columbia support affirmed that there is no gusseting in the men's Granite Trail shoe.

Stable, waterproof, better colors online!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish the color was in stores! Had to buy online, as that gray/red is not good. Love the water proofing and Omni-grip. Highly recommend as a daily wear. More stable than a typical American running “tennis shoe.”
