Warm winter jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the length of this jacket and the added fleece lining to the hood. I ordered a large and love how it doesn’t feel snug and I can move easily in it.

Just OK

Kind of disappointed, I was looking for a WARM winter coat. I like the color, fit, and especially the fuzzy lining of the hood, but overall this jacket is not that warm. Maybe you need to produce more body heat for that reflective lining to work well? I am perpetually cold in the winter and have poor circulation. I feel like the cold air goes right through the fabric and I am freezing cold within a couple of minutes. There is very little actual insulation in this coat. I would gladly trade a little more weight for more warmth.

I am short so the jacket comes down to just above my knees which is cosy but not restrictive on my daily walks. It is warm yet lightweight. On very cold days I wear another layer. I love the hood which stays on my head even when it's windy, the pockets, the wrist warmers, the flattering fit. I hope Columbia never stops making it exactly the way it is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this coat! It’s not heavy and bulky, but it’s really warm. The inner lining is really neat. I also like how the cuff around the wrist can go over the thumb, which helps keep the cold out.

I have a 3 piece Columbia coat I use for skiing that has a similar inside layer to this coat but short. I didn’t want to damage my ski jacket plus I was looking for something a little longer. My Columbia ski jacket is held up for years so I trust this one will too. It fits amazing! Has a nice tailored look. I got the camel color and have gotten so many compliments. I love the fur lined hood and collar.
