Devil in the details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this shirt jacket as an all-rounder and for hanging out with dogs and horses. Fit is slightly baggy and boxy, like it looks in the picture and true to size. Shoulder room is good for an athletic build. The material is oddly static and animal hair sticks to it like crazy which was the reason I returned the jacket. The other small details I noticed would not have been a return reason: main hand pockets are very shallow. To the point where I would not trust my car key in there. The pockets in reverse mode are pretty good, but a deeper pocket that was secured w at least a button would be great. I found the arms too short for my liking. I would much rather fold it to show off that cure interior. as is, they are barely long enough. it would also be nice to be able to button up the collar to make it even more versatile.

A new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket. It's very of the moment for this year - a little bit barn coat, but heavier; a little bit Carhartt, but lighter. The jacket itself is light as a feather, which will be great for travel, and its mid-level warmth is just perfect for our lower Midwest climate. It will work across multiple seasons, (which we often get in the same day!) The deep purple/eggplant color is rich and a nice variation on blacks and grays. My one request would be to ask Columbia to add fabric-appropriate instructions the "how to care for it" section on its website regarding how to best shake out the packing wrinkles. Or better yet, include care instructions in with it; maybe because this one is reversible, there's no tag with instructions.

New favorite fall jacket. This is a really cute jacket, I find myself grabbing this almost all the time, except when I'm wearing tan pants. Perfect warmth for fall, great for drizzle. I never find myself reversing it but I like having an extra set of pockets on the inside. The sleeves are long on me but I roll them up and the print peeks out.

Great piece

So cute on! This jacket is roomy so good for the busty ladies. Great fall piece and perfect for the northwest. The quality is very good and this would not look out of place running errands around town or camping.
