Hiking boots can be heavy and bulky but not the Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II Suede WP Hiking Boot. Starting at only two pounds per pair, this boot doesn't weigh us down yet still protects our feet with its burly upper and its waterproof Omni-Tech bootie that keeps out water, snow, and muck. The light EVA foam cushions our feet, while Columbia's Omni-Grip rubber outsoles give us good outdoor traction that won't mark up our floors when we wear them indoors.

Great Boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great boots! Comfortable, waterproof, light weight and have great traction. I've used these for shoveling and hiking in snow and they have performed great! The fit is great, I have a regular width foot and I ordered my normal shoe size.

Good quality great looking boots
The boots look great and based on walking the dog in the rain they are definitely water proof. The shoes are true to size, You may want to get a 1/2 size bigger if you always wear thick socks. They are fine with athletic crew socks. The quality is excellent the seams are tight and the bottoms provide secure footing.

Very nice shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my son and he loved them. They are like sneaker mixed with a boot, so not only are waterproof, but also fashionable and he really likes how well they work with his clothes even when it’s not cold. I love the way they look on him and luckily they’re not heavy at all unlike some other pairs of winter boots. He said they don’t make his feet sweat which is also great.

Changed up the rubber
These boots use to be nice. I bought them 5 times prior to my most recent purchase. This boot would last me many month before the dread would become low. This time around this boot lasted not even a full month before the tread was completely worn

Best-looking comfortable everyday walking boots!
My husband wanted these boots for his birthday, to replace the last pair he had. This is the third pair of these boots he has owned. He's tried other brands, but they were not as comfortable. He wears them as his everyday, all purpose, all season shoes, and he walks a lot! They look nice; he receives compliments on them. We're very glad that this model has been continued and hope it will stay around.
