Why We Like The Cotopaxi Allpa Del Dia 35L Travel Pack

When it comes to daily adventures, the Cotopaxi Allpa Del Dia 35L Travel Pack is up for anything. This spacious carry-on-compatible backpack features a suitcase-style, full-wrap zipper opening for easy packing, with two internal mesh compartments that help us stay organized during our trip. The weight-distributing, low-profile harness system keeps our back and shoulders comfortable as we walk through the airport, and when we get to the hotel, the stowaway waist belt and shoulder straps make for out-of-the-way storage. Our favorite part of this pack might just be the fact that it's made entirely from repurposed nylon and polyester fabric scraps for not only a sustainable design, but also a unique one-of-a-kind colorway.

Amazing travel bag

This travel bag is the perfect size for 3-4 day trips! It has the capacity of a roller carry-on but also the convenience of a backpack. The inside compartments allow for easy packing and consolidation of items. The upper outer pocket is spacious enough to fit a descent sized toiletry bag. I can’t recommend this bag enough! My girlfriend got one too and we plan to use them for destination trips as well as hut to hut backpacking.

Best Pack Ever

I was looking for a backpack that was visually pleasing, but at the same time, comfortable and practical. My new 35 L pack truly fills the bill. It has the comfort straps that ease the pressure on my shoulders and a waist cinch that keeps the pack from sagging down my back. It has nifty storage areas that eliminate the need for packing cubes. I took my new pack on a test drive on my recent flight from Utah to Hawaii. I am excited to use it on my next trip to Spain. I should also say that the service that I received at the Park City store was exceptional as always. I’m still really enjoying the items I purchased last winter and I’m thrilled with the additional items that I bought this year, including the pack. I am a more thansatisfied customer and happy traveler!!

Cotopaxi alpha 35 dark

Hi my bag is significantly smaller and with less storage then my girlfriends I bought for Christmas plus hers came with the rain bag to keep your bag from getting wet for rainy days. All around a great pack

Great bag, a little weird shaped

There is a lot of room as promised, but it leaves the bag having kind of an odd shape. But, looks aside it seems pretty functional for a shorter duration trip.

Can’t ever go back!!

As an organization person- this pack does it all! Not over complicated. Simply, easy to use and makes packing a breeze- everything has it’s spot! Not to mention that the colors are so fun! I love the stowable straps to make for easy checked baggage when necessary. Used this for a two week, multi stop trip last summer and LOVED it!

Backpacking trip

Wanted a bag where I could take everything I need with me. Bag was packed till there was no space left and my back and shoulders were comfortable.

Loving it

Please note I selected "other" in several options because I had multiple reasons and was forced to pick only one. Hope this input helps. Originally, I bought the Del Dia 28L and swapped out to the 35L because I wanted something with a little more laptop capacity since I occasionally travel with two. I can fit my 13" in the tablet sleeve and my 15" in the main laptop sleeve with chargers and zero trouble. I've also used this mostly as a weekend pack. I can fit 2-3 days of my daughter's outfits and 2-3 of my outfits comfortably with space for my noise canceling headphones and a 500+ page book, phone chargers, and a glasses case. Honestly I have room for more. What I love is this pack enables me to pack for us in one bag where previously I used a sports duffle bag, my work backpack, and her small backpack to do the same. This gives me more trunk space in our SUV for the dogs, a cooler, and whatever other items we need to go from our house to our weekend spot. Coincidentally, my wife uses the Luzon 18 pack for her clothes and some of our other daughter's, but she still uses her work tote for her laptops. I haven't done any overseas travel yet, but will be soon. For this upcoming project, I'm already excited about being able to carry everything in one pack versus having a backpack and a carry on. I haven't tried the water bottle holder or additional carabiner connection points yet, so no input there. Having multiple carrying handle options is nice, as is the handle to go around a rolling suitcase extension handle. This will come in handy in future projects where I'll have to take multiple suitcases. The only thing I'm still struggling with is de-programming my brain to get used to the suitcase zipper style opening. This isn't a knock on the pack because it actually makes packing gear easier than top-loading. It's just getting used to which zipper opens what compartment. The Cotopaxi packing cubes are also a great option for this pack. They all fit and keep things very organized, actually creating more space for odds and ends. Fit is good for the limited use I've experienced. Once the weather warms up, I may do some hiking with the pack on my own, but I'm not there yet. Plus my kids are young enough that our hikes are short and manageable with a larger hydration pack. Color, my original 28L was one of the vibrant, colorful ones. I was super-excited to use it because it was one-of-a-kind, but then my wife was lame and talked me out of it because it wasn't "professional enough" in her opinion, but I work in television, so it was perfect for remote projects with all the characters I come across. Plus, it would be easier to spot in an airport if someone were to grab it erroneously or intentionally. But now with the more solid color 35L, I meet all my cargo needs and still have enough color pop to keep it fun. Life is too short for boring colors, and it's a good thing my wife is cute. Plus, my kids love the "party llama" logo and have since asked me for things like the Cotopaxi fanny pack, or cross-body bag, whatever they're called these days.

Gorgeous bag!

I have not yet traveled with it but I leave for my first trip with it soon! It is exactly as pictured and I can fit everything in it, shipping was fast and on time too. My only concern is using it as a carry on but I have read reviews saying that it works well so fingers crossed because I think this is my new travel bag!
