Durable, handy roller for long-haul trips

Needed a larger capacity bag for an extended international trip, and this one definitely fit the bill. It's rugged and is easily expandable—or compressible—depending on your needs. Even though it doesn't have four wheels, the two wheels are sturdy enough to roll around rough or uneven pavement or surfaces. Yes, the vinyl does get scuffed while being handled as baggage, but it doesn't mess with the overall integrity of the case. If you're worried about your baggage "looking clean" after a long trip, invest in an aluminium roller instead. But, if you want a practical sturdy travel bag, this one's your best bet.

I would potentially give this suitcase 5 stars, except I just gave it to my son for his birthday as he prepares to study abroad in a few months and wanted him to have a durable piece of luggage that would last him for a lifetime of adventures. . . plus this color should standout on the luggage carousels amongst all the standard black and navy suitcases.

This bag is the best!

This is my second Cotopaxi bag and my first with wheels. I love it! My favorite thing about the bag is the compartments. It makes it super easy to keep the bag organized. The external straps are nice for compressing the bag. The wheels are very sturdy and the bag rolls smoothly.

Just the right size for

Just the right size for a 10 day trip to Costa Rica where you need many layers. Very durable along rocky paths.

We bought this for a family trip where we wanted a larger check-in bag for the flight. The bag seems well organized and very sturdy!

Best travel case ever

My girlfriend and I do a lot of travel both leisure and more adventure style! I got this as a gift because she love the colors and vibes of Cotopaxi! One of her previous roller bags (NOT Cotopaxi) broke after ONE trip. So although she has only used it once since I got it for her she is already a lifetime fan! She loves the space, organization, and size. I will definitely be getting her the matching backpack and duffle!

good effort

There's a design flaw in that the stitching for the smaller top pocket pulls in the exterior zipper. It's hard to close the zipper past that spot every single time, even when there's not much stuff in the bag, and you can see that there's a lot of pressure on the zipper at that location. My guess is that the zipper will start to fail because of it. I'm also a little worried about the durability of the mesh coverings for the interior. It's fine if all you're packing is clothes, but when you start working with things like shoes or scuba fins, it seems dicey. I think a duffle with a single compartment would give more flexibility. On the positive side, it's a really nice-looking bag and is just the right size for a week or two away where you plan to check a bag but don't want something huge.

Functional and fun bug for versatile use

We bought this bag to go on a safari and chose it for the easy of use. Being able to open a duffel bag like a suitcase and chose light colors for the interior makes it very easy to use. The additional bags we purchased to include in the suitcase makes it even easier to separate our things from each other on a back packing trip.
