Good size/construction. well thought out pockets/organization
Despite not having too many reviews online (being a newer model in Cotopaxi’s bag lineup), I bought this as a daily commuter bag. The pockets and the organization is well thought out. Being able to separate flat items (in the laptop compartment) from other items that may have a more irregular shape is very helpful. I also appreciated that while the bag can expand and hold a lot, the compression straps really do help to keep the bag tight and tidy. Bottle side pockets are deep, which I appreciate; on other bags, sometimes bottles would fall out if not pushed in all the way — not the case with this bag. Overall, I think this bag is great. I have a few suggestions for future iterations of this bag, but as is, the bag is a good buy. Some improvements and suggestions: (1) I’d want one or two more anchor points on the back of the bag to clip random items. Currently there is only one anchor point on the center bottom of the back. I’ve made use of the compression strap anchor points for other attachments but it would be nice to be have proper hook points. The laptop compartment is very roomy. When slipping in a typical 14” laptop, it goes DEEP. I wonder if the space above the laptop could be better utilized to hold a small tablet/e-reader. I just think it’s an underutilized space. I imagine even a 16” laptop wouldn’t take up the full space. Again, both of these suggestions are minor, and I still think the bag is great.

Upgrade For My Middle Schooler
My son had been complaining about his shoulders and back feeling strained by his backpack from another brand and as we had a good experience with Cotopaxi in elementary I immediately thought of trying it out again. I thought I might have gone too large with the Mente 32L but when my son loaded it up and tried it on he loved it and we feel confident it will get him through the next three years😊 Thanks for making a great quality product!!!

Mente 32L
I bought this to use as my daily work backpack. It’s a bit longer than my previous backpack but I’m okay with that, allows me to hold more gear. I’m also 6’3” and it fits me fine. Some shorter individuals may find it too long. I love the fit and finish, typical Coropaxi quality which I love. My ONLY complaint is that the laptop compartment is NOT suspended, meaning the laptop pocket extends all the way to the bottom of the bag. That’s great for larger laptops, but if you have a drop that also means the end/corners of the laptop don’t have any ‘buffer’ if the bottom of the bag hits the ground. Overall great bag just be aware of the size.

Ballin’ Bag
Five Star Bag! It’s the perfect size for my MacBook computer, Seminary Books, gym clothes, shoes, and personal items. Gets me through work and gym then home. Material is great and color is casual enough for weekend but professional enough to take into the office. Compartments are accessible and practical. Worked great on a hike as well!

Nice, all-purpose backpack
I am a lover of bags, and a carrier of way too many things, so when I was looking for a new backpack, I knew it had to be spacious, keep me organized, and be able to handle a variety of needs. While I am still in the first few weeks of owning my new Mente 32L daypack, I can tell it will be the versatile bag I was hoping for. I currently use it for work, and it fits a laptop, my lunch bag, extra clothes, etc. I believe it would work very well as a weekend carry-on bag as well. Something that was not obvious from the product videos and photos, but a pleasant surprise, is that it has 4 zippered sections - a laptop sleeve, a large compartment, a smaller compartment that has pen organizers and a zippered sunglass sleeve, and a front pocket that is just the right size for a phone. This is a LARGE bag, and since I'm short (5'4") I don't anticipate it being my go-to hiking backpack, as it's a bit too long and oversized for my average hike. Otherwise, I like that it's colorful, but not too bright (I wanted something professional-ish for work), and that it has enough pockets to keep me organized.

Premier gear for any adventure
Got this CotoPaxi bag for an upcoming series of out and pack hiking/biking trips and it’s been the perfect companion. Can fit a ton of gear in here and still it’s not too heavy.
