Metal Fatigue

The post function well, but the inner post or the top piece looks like it has metal fatigue. I am scared it may break

Was great- at first.

- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was very excited to get this dropper, it appeared to be the best one for a 27.2 seat tube. It worked great for a couple weeks, and now is getting stuck at the halfway point (no crashes involved). Will have to do some furniture investigation.

I know this post is designed to clamp at the lever, but is it possible to use a cable clamp and an inline barrel adjuster to use a GRX left lever to actuate it?
