Great Little Hip Pack

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this for my daughter to carry her phone & snacks on rides. On the first use the cord that secures the top of the water bottle came unstitched where it connects to the hip pack, but Competitive Cyclist was very easy to work with to get it replaced. Subtracted one star for that. We have been on a couple of rides with it since and it seems to be holding up well. It is a small pack but has enough room for a phone, keys, multi-tool and a few snacks. I'm sure you could fit an inflator and a couple of CO2 cartridges as well. I used it myself on one ride and it is comfortable and stays in place well.

Fanny Pack Convert.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Bit the bullet and returned to the fanny pack set after a 30 year hiatus. Efficient and Fashionable, what else is there to say? This pack is relatively small capacity- room for a small repair kit, compact first aid bag, and a few snacks. Haven't tried the water bottle holder. I will say that i'm a 32 waist and there isn't a whole lot of extra belt left.

Lots of reviews mention the hip belt is too small but Dakine must have updated it. I'm a size 36 waist and mine fits with plenty of room to spare! Love the bag overall for intermediate length rides and just going to the park with my kids. It's lightweight so I forget it's there but holds just enough stuff

Great for short trips

Sturdy bag but the belt could be longer of have an extension added. Still with that a good reliable bag worthy of purchase.

tiny pack and belt

The pack is well made but very small; I don't think it could hold a 0.5L bottle. The belt is kiddie size. Unless your waist is under 28", it won't fit.

For the Skinny, need to list waist size

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
One Size Fits NOT All
Height:
5' 10"
Weight:

Yep, I'm in my mid 50's and am a 200 lb. 5'10" guy with a 36" waist. I measured the circumference of the strap and it's exactly 36". Too tight for me. If you plan on wearing this over clothes not just spandex subtract more inches. Bought this Hot Laps 1L and the Hot Laps Stealth at the same time. The Stealth has some extra reach (42") so I'll set up with a road repair kit as planned. Won't set up the 1L for MTB repair kit, since it doesn't fit. $7 to return. Will see if a younger skinnier member of the family can use it, but a "fanny" pack isn't cool these days. Dakine or Backcountry should list waist sizes.

Great Pack!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is a great quality pack for a moderate ride and love how compact it is. Would give it 5 stars but the waist strap is a little small, can dig into you side.
