Great knee pad with better protection at the cost of a little less comfort than the older dakine slayer pads. Worthy purchase!

Not sure how these are adult unisex knee pads. I'm a small person: 5'1" and 115lbs with normal athletic legs so I thought the size small would fit but they are ridiculously small. Like for children with stick legs. I barely got them on my lower leg and definitely couldn't pull them over my knee. I had to get help to pull them off. I had ordered a size medium as well just in case and these weren't much bigger. I could get the size medium over my knee but it was a struggle and the pad itself was so hard and uncomfortable. The lower part dug into my shin. I felt like if I were to crash with these they'd do more damage than good. Super bummed these didn't work out. Just crazy a small person like myself would have to go with a size large in order for them to fit. But they are so uncomfortable I'm just going to go with a different knee pad. I even checked the tags to make sure they weren't youth size or something. Tags say adult unisex.
