Why We Like The Deuter Kid Comfort Pro Carrier
We have enough to carry on trail, so adding a baby to the crew can prove challenging. Luckily, Deuter's Kid Comfort Pro Carrier offers us the strength, balance, and convenience to haul it all. The kid's space is roomy and comfortable, and it even includes a bracing pillow that lets our little one rest. The carrier already has a surprising amount of pockets—including a space for a hydration reservoir—but in case that's not enough, Deuter threw in a detachable daypack that we can carry or pass off to our partner.

We can?t wait to get out more with our Kid Carrier. Our toddler loves it and if she sees it out she demands to be put in it, even if it?s just to sit in the living room to watch TV. It?s very comfortable for all involved and we love how adjustable it is. We know it got our toddlers stamp of approval after she fell asleep 15 minutes into our hike and slept for the duration of it. We love how easy this makes it for us to get outside and not have to lug a stroller, meaning we have more room in the car to fit our dog so she can come along!

So I?m a big guy, put on some weight since my backpacking days in my 20s. I?m also tall. Had a backpack fitting guide recommend XL for me at the local super duper sporting place. I have yet to find a kid carrier that can reach that besides a Thule, but it wasn?t the most comfortable fit. How tall of a torso can this pack fit? I?m 6?1. Seems most of these packs are made for shorter people. Wanting to share the outdoors with my little man once the snow breaks and he doesn?t quite have the legs and stamina for hiking yet.
