Why We Like The Kid Comfort Venture
Hikes are all fun and games with the Deuter Kid Comfort Venture happily holding our kiddos in place on our backs. This supportive piece of equipment is made with an aluminum frame and treated nylon outer to support the biggest of adventures. Our kiddos are more than happy to tag along on any trip while we've got them strapped to our back. The carrier can comfortably adjust and can be paired with a rain cover to keep the kid, and our stuff, nice and dry.

Essential for really getting outside postpartum
Bought this when my son was 9 months old, he's 21 months now and It's the most used piece of equipment we have for carrying him. I tried my son in at least 15 other high-end name brand bags, in stores, and nothing compares to this bags adjustabikity for his growing body and adjustability for whos careying him. Other bags were so difficult to get him out of. This bags seems so comfortable for sleeping, and everything about this bag is high quality. I fabricated a custom insulated down filled bag to go over it on really cold days, using an adult sleeping bag, and it's the only thing I want to put him in when we go snowshoeing, back country telemark skiing (low angle), or even just a walk along the river. In the summer time my fiance takes our son fishing in it, hiking along ankle deep rivers. We love how adjustable the bag can be between mom carrying him and dad, it's quick and easy. The bag and clips all feel very durable, and safe for baby. Love the sun shade too.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came in so handy when we took our grandson to the zoo. My husband and I both were able to carry him with ease and it was a great relief to our arms and back. He loves it because he sits up high and can see over our heads with no problems. The multitude of pockets is great for carrying all the extras you need with a small child. It is very sturdy and quite comfortable.

Comfortable carrier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves to hike, and we have kids of all ages. My nephew just turned 2 so on our hikes he doesn't last very long walking on his own. Before finding this carrier we used a regular baby carrier and that just wasn't comfortable. This carrier has the perfect structure while also having soft canvas material so both My nephew and I are comfortable on our hikes. Our last hike we went for 3 hours and 90% of that time my nephew was in the carrier. I had no issues carrying him the entire hike I was extremely comfortable and he was supported perfectly.

Super cool

The perfect hiking baby carrier!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy finally hit the weight threshold for this outdoor carrier and we were so excited to break it in hiking this past weekend! I loved that this carrier has so many adjustable straps making it useable by both me and my husband. The carrier felt great on the back with the weight distribution and so much padding. I was pleasantly surprised that my back wasn't terribly drenched after hiking for a few hours. The ventilation on the back as well as having the child sit further back, provided a lot of comfort. I also greatly appreciated the extra storage compartment and the kickstand!

Comfortable for Dad and Toddler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband brought our two year old toddler out for a quick hike in this and he had nothing but wonderful things to say. It was easy to move around and climb up steps with our daughter. It get just like wearing a back pack. My daughter was content and happy the whole time. She even ended up falling asleep. The straps are easy adjust for the backpack and for kid portion as well. The quality is great and it looks great too! Give it a try.

Perfect for Adventures!

It is so easy to get adjusted to fit me with lots of options to make it fit just right and I think it’s super comfortable for both me and the baby to use.
