Great touring lid!
Light, semi-modular, airy, what's not to love? Finally a helmet I can wear during more intense uphill efforts without cooking my lid. However, this is small. In a Smith I'm a large with lots of room to spare, including a thick beanie. This helmet - I went L/XL (I think I'm roughly 57cm) - is just barely large enough to accommodate an ultrathin wool liner. The result is that it wears a little high, and if I had a 60cm head and/or any other hair in don't expect I'd be able to wear it. Size up if it's an option, because it's otherwise a great piece of gear. Oh yeah, and it works well with a headlamp or goggles, if any of you reading reviews needed to hear that.

Great fit
Smith helmets are generally too high-volume for me and this fits perfectly. I have only tried it biking so far and it stays put, feels light. I'm in AK so I don't mind that this is slightly less ventilated/warmer. Only con is that the visor is hard to adjust; you need 2 hands to do it, which is a terrible design. Smith visors are way better IMO

I bought this for adventure racing, to hopefully use one helmet for multiple events. It's bulkier than I'm used to, but the fit and weight are great. I don't have a need for the quick goggle connect feature, but it seems cool for those who would use it. Good purchase for someone trying to keep their gear weight or closet space more compact!

Wanted to like it

This seems like a nice helmet but the fit is different, at least for me. I ordered a L/XL which does fit my head for circumference, the issue is the depth or height of the helmet. The thing sits on top of my head to the extent that any fall would probably twist the helmet off my head and choke me to death with the chin strap. I realize this is a triple certified helmet, bike, climb and ski but I assumed there would be more lateral coverage for my head ( similar to a ski helmet) but at least the way it fit me you might be safe from a direct overhead hit but not much else. It looks a good helmet if it fits your head.

Solid lightweight helmet
So far, so good! Been on a few backcountry ski tours with this helmet. Nice because it is lightweight and easy to stuff in the pack (or on outside of pack). Fits comfortably/securely and looks good as well. Also works well with sunglasses. I have a head size slightly on the smaller side of Large with other helmets (can be a M or L helmet size depending on the make), and the L/XL in this Dynafit TLT helmet fits perfect. There is room for me to wear a thin or even medium thickness beanie underneath, by extending the rear adjustment piece down and cranking the adjustment wheel out. If you have a really large head, and want to wear a hat underneath, this helmet could be too small -- worth trying on first. The triple rating is great for ski mountaineers who mike be on a bike approach, or dealing with some climbing/rappeling as well.

Perfect Helmet
This helmet is just perfect. Weight is low enough with enough airflow makes me forget that I am even wearing it. No complaints whatsoever, perfect skimo helmet

Great helmet - size too small
Overall, the helmet is great. The only problem is the size. Previously, I used the RADICAL model and it was OK in size - even with a spare for a thick hat, this TLT, although the XL size is up to 61 cm, is much smaller - the shell arrangement is different. If you have a large head, this helmet will not fit - too bad ;(

Awesome multi-sport helmet
From skimo to alpine to MTB. Certified for all! Raced in the Pierra Menta with it this year. Well vented and light.

First helmet I actually wear whilst skiing
After 45 years of skiing, I finally wear a ski-certified helmet! I have been trying multiple ski helmets over the years and have always gone back to wearing climbing helmets for objective danger, however knowing that climbing helmets will not help my nugget if I fall and hit my head. TLT is a jackpot! light, packs easily, breathe, and fits well. Now I am actually wearing one in skiing almost on a daily basis! I use same helmet also for MTB and paragliding which means I just unloaded 3 unused helmets from my gear storage. Works also well with headlamps and sunglasses. Strong recommendation! Also, actual weight is 389g instead of 392g on the webpage, usually, manufacturers tend to pronounce lighter than real weight. not the case with Dynafit. My only worry is that with all the use I need to buy a new one soon :/ Lightest is not always most durable.
