Versatile and lightweight

Perfect goggles for skimo. They're ridiculously lightweight, snug, and comfortable. I do have a big head (the Dynafit TLT L/XL helmet doesn't fit me even though the Radical does!) but have no size issues with these goggles, as one of the previous reviewers did.

Underwhelmed, but still pleased about the weight.

My eyes can't handle heavy wind, so I always carry a pair of goggles in my pack when I tour in case it's really gnarly out there. I'm in my sunglasses about 95% of the time for up and down, but always like to have that assurance. These goggles caught my attention due to the light weight since it's more of a pack item for me anyways. I was able to test them out, and they're okay. I don't have an overly giant head, but the frames are just large enough if I put them on correctly. I would not recommend them for people who are giant sized as I don't think they'll fit. Also, due to the design of the goggle strap attachment leaves giant air gaps on each side of the goggle, so it's easy for wind to sneak in. Lastly, the double frame gives me double vision if I catch the light just right. The transition feature is a nice touch and seems to work as intended. So overall these are not good goggles, but they are better than sunglasses to keep you warmish and protect your eyes from the elements. Since they will live in my pack the majority of the time, I will keep them. I can't say I would recommend them for someone who wears goggles a ton.

Superlight, minimalist, but...

There's a lot to like with these goggles as far as the light and fast concept behind it. They feel like they weigh almost nothing and they fit well with the Dynafit helmet. If you have a low nose bridge they will not work for you. I found that the lenses were not dark enough in full sun and had difficulty seeing. As far as construction, you can see the adhesive that attaches the lens to the frame and at first I thought there was a protective film on the lens but then realized it was supposed to be there. The goggle frame does not have sealing on the sides, most likely to help with air flow/fogging but did not cause any issues. As far as the product photos, the Dynafit photos show the lens a S1-S3 catergory but lists the lens as a S1-S2 (on the Dynafit website). The goggles lens came as S1-S2. The S3 rating is for bright sun so that could explain the lens not being dark enough. Look forward to the next iteration of this goggle. Here is what I found on the lens tints: Category 1 / S1 – Light – Lightly tinted lenses for dull overcast and foggy days. Category 2 / S2 – Medium – Good all-round lens tints for the majority of weather conditions. Category 3 / S3 – Dark – Dark lenses that cut out a lot of the suns rays, ideal for sensitive eyes and bright sunny days.
