"These shoes are a fantastic choice for long trail runs. The outsole offers reliable grip on rocky paths, and the lightweight cushioning keeps my feet happy for miles."

The Ultra 50 Running Shoe is our trusted partner when we set out on long alpine runs. Dynafit designed this trail runner with technical terrain in mind, combining lightweight cushioning with a secure, adaptable fit for extended comfort. The Pomoca outsole provides confident traction, even on wet and uneven surfaces, while the Alpine Rocker design promotes a smooth stride across diverse trails. We appreciate how the Ultra 50's seamless tongue and reinforced toe box protect against trail debris and impacts, ensuring we can focus on the path ahead. Great ultra running and hiking shoe!

I’ve ran multiple 50k to 50 miles distances in these shoes and loved them. Zero blisters, snug fit with enough room and the best heel cup I have experienced to date. Wouldn’t recommend for 100 milers , go with the 100’s for that. Solid shoe!

Shoes that you can go hard and far in.

These shoes are one of my most ideal running shoes because of the lack of height/cushion. They last a lot longer than my ultra 100 pairs as they don’t collapse very easily over time. Although, the cushion of the 100 is very nice at times, these shoes are a little more preferred. The only drawback with this shoe in general is the minimal height in the tread lug, I wish there was a little more to them. Because of this I have to replace the shoe sooner or turn them into regular walking shoes. Other than that they are great!

Great all round running shoe

Great shoes for longer distances, they are not too heavily cushioned which I like, but still very comfortable for 100k and beyond, while also being useful for shorter outings as they are quite responsive on technical rocky terrain. Grip is proven excellent even on wet rocks, as well as other surfaces with the Pomoca outsole, Dynafit has the grippiest running shoes out there, while also being very durable at the same time. Shoes are very comfortable and trustworthy, the only real problem is the lacing system, as it does not hold the heel 100% securely, I swap out the laces for a thicker non-elastic lace for a better heel lock, which still does not hold the heel as it should. I don't have this problem with other manufacturers. Shoes are overall wider/higher volume than other Dynafit models, but it gets narrow too quickly in the front, which then rubs on the lateral side, especially on long downhills it gets noticable. Sometimes I can get away with it on longer outings, sometimes it's too bothering, a half size bigger size would mean the heel lock would be even less secured. Other than the fit issue, I am very happy with this model!
