Why We Like The Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Belay FG Carabiner
The Edelrid HMS Bulletproof Belay FG Carabiner is a highly robust belay carabiner with a proven steel insert from the Edelrid Bulletproof series. The integrated spring bar reliably prevents the carabiner from twisting in the tie-in loop to limit the risk of cross-loading. In addition, the bar can only be opened if pressed from above, preventing the tie-in loop from accidentally changing position.

Great Belay Biner

Similar to the old HMS bulletproof, however, they flipped the spring-loaded gate so that loading the device and clipping it to your belay loop is very smooth and efficient. In addition, as with the whole bulletproof line, this will last years through of heavy use. You'll definitely get your money's worth.
