What’s more, the newly redesigned Rap Line can withstand two dynamic twin rope tests as per EN 892 standards and features a low elongation value to make it suitable for rappelling.

Game changer for splitmo missions

Absolute love this rap line from Edelrid. Have used this once successfully on a multi-rap ski line in the Wasatch with an Edelrid Microjul belay device designed for smaller diameter ropes, no issues with not having enough friction and I am over 250 lbs with pack and splitboard. Another time I carried it but we bailed from our objective after encountering wind slabs. But even this outing was easier due to the light weight of the line. Small diameter also makes it easy to carry and stow in my pack when not needed.
