Do not fit well with SRAM HRD shifters.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Using SRAM Red AXS HRD shifters. The hoods of these shifters are much wider than the tops of these handlebars and required the fitting of some home-made shims to get them to mate. Unfortunately, if you are building an ENVE bike with it's proprietary headset and In-route cable system, the choices for handlebars are very limited. Also, do not care for the rubber nipple stem ends.

Awesome bars but CAREFUL THE FLARE

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I was looking for a carbon bar with measurements similar to what I had (80mm drop, 125mm reach) that would accommodate Di2 bar end plug integration, and (as much as aero bars are cool) was not aero so that I would save myself headaches trying to fit accessories to it (e.g. Garmin mount). This was basically the only bar that met all that criteria. But now what size to get... The specs on ENVE's site are good, and they detail the 2cm FLARE at the drops, however, neither ENVE nor Competitive Cyclist say how they're measuring the bars when you're choosing a size: 42cm... Is that at the drops or at the hoods? Because at the hoods, it'll be 40cm if it flares to 42 at the drops. Or is it the opposite? 42 at the hoods, so 44 at the drops? Let me clarify: It's measured at the hoods. So if you buy size 40cm (center to center), it'll flare to 42cm at the drops. Maybe that's obvious to some, but for me -- who (somehow) didn't realize that his current bars also had a flare -- it was a big question mark. I thought mine were 42cm straight down. So I got the 42cm bars. And I compared, and measured twice, of course, and then I mounted them... and then discovered they were much wider than I was used to. Lesson learned: Never assume, even from your notes(!!), and measure at the drops and the hoods on your current bars. I couldn't return them (because they had been mounted) and had to buy a pair of 40s off ENVE because CC had run out of that size. These are hard to find on the Internet right now, stock is very limited.
