Why We Like The Evoc BOA Seat Pack
Ultra-tight, ultra-snug, and ultra-secure, the BOA Seat Pack has easily made it to the top of our list for keeping our essentials on the bike. We're especially impressed with the BOA dial security, as the dial tightens an abrasion-resistant strap on our seatpost preventing sway or movement while we're riding. We use this bag for long days in the saddle when we're not sure when we'll get home or how rough the weather is going to be.

Good storage for spring and fall rides

I bought the medium last winter and had it on my gravel bike all spring, summer and fall. It's great in those shoulder seasons when you're not sure on the weather and want to bring some options, plus tools, phone and energy bar. I'm not bike packing with it. I like it and never notice it on the bike, it's week connected. It performs well when you have fluffy stuff like jackets in there. It's a pain when you take out that jacket and have say tools and phone in there, railing around. The phone was difficult , because it's too big to put deep in the bag, the plastic casing of the BOA is a little tight on those things. So I end up getting it tight with the rollup and straps. it still bounces around and I twice emergency dialed 911 on my phone because of it, in different places but both times bouncing on heavy gravel roads/trails. I should probably have phone in a pocket but I don't always wear bike shirts. i know more seasoned riders i ride with in summer think it's overkill and maybe they're right in summer. Still it's a well made bag that connects well and stays in place that I'd recommend even though its expensive. It's still on my bike.
