have owned them for over a year and have held up great with indoor climbing multiple times a week. Got them resoled then turned them into outdoor bouldering shoes and they're incredible. Only issue is that the white strap is starting to fray but it's still holding strong otherwise. Overall, great shoe for experienced climbers who fancy standing on sharp edges. Just don't do much smearing in them

Haven't used the shoes yet, seem good, but heads up
These shoes use US sizing and it's not super clear they size in women's. I accidentally just assumed for some reason and have to order another pair. I'll edit my review once I try them.

Straight Big Toe Position is Unique and Wonderful
After years with the Shaman and Oracle, I have 100% switched to these. I also had the regular version of the Phantom, but it was too high volume for my C-width size 10 feet. I down-sized to compensate, but this made the shoes too painful to use very often. This low-volume version in a larger size is very close to perfect for me. Additionally, this is the only shoe I've found that puts the big toe in a straight, powerful position. A year ago I sprained my ankle while trying to run in some high-heeled, narrow approach shoes that pushed my big toe inward, like most shoes do. The damage was around my navicular bone in my arch. During my rehab, I've learned how much more powerful your arch and overall foot are when the big toe is NOT pushed inward. Take a look at the toe area vs the Shaman and you will see the design difference around the big toe. Evolv, thank you so much for making this low volume shoe is big enough sizes to fit this narrow-footed man. My messed-up left big toe does miss the Shaman's love bump a bit though.

Best all-around performance shoe in the game
This shoe is my go to for both hard outdoor climbing and competitions. It fits like a glove fresh out the box, has excellent edging power and a snug heel. Brand new, this shoe is plenty stiff for steep climbing on small footholds; once it's thoroughly broken in, it becomes flexible and sensitive enough for low angle slab smearing. I keep several pairs broken in to different levels of stiffness for various applications. It's also shockingly comfortable. If you're trying to climb hard and you only have one pair of shoes, this should be it.

Psyched
I really, really like the Phantom (non-LV), but wished there was just a little "less" to them, thus, I LOVE the Phantom LV. On day one I thought I'd wear them on my warm-up to start breaking them in and ending up wearing them for the entire day, including on my project. These are the most comfortable aggressive shoes I've ever worn, and I don't feel like I'm sacrificing a thing in exchange!

Excels on the Steep!
Excellent fit for low volume feet. Perform well right out of the box with very little break in time required. Super durable construction with just the right amount of sticky Trax SAS rubber for long wear time. Semi-soft yet super supportive for toeing hard on knee bars and steep pockets. Phantoms heel hook like a dream! This is now my favorite climbing shoe for steep climbing... EVER!!!

Hi, I have the shaman lv and am wondering how these compare with fit? are they softer? Is the heel less deep etc. I like my shaman lv (had both lace and velcro but some downsides in that I feel like the heel is a bit wide and stiff ..

Hello, I currently wear Evolv Defy's US Men's 10.5. I've commonly heard that the Defy's are much smaller than their size suggests. What size should I get for these Evolv Phantom Low Volumes?

Hi, my right foot is .5 (US women size) larger than my left foot. I just got phantom lv 7.5, and the left foot fits perfectly while my big toe on the right is bent so much and the painful knuckle. Should I get size 8 or expect the right shoe will stretch?

If I usually climb in 37 EUR / 6.5 US shaman or shakra, should I use the same size for this model? Just wanted to make sure.
