Way smaller than industry standards

Literally every pair of flip-flop style sandals I've purchased in the last 20 years, whether $70+ adventure sport models from premium brands, or $10 drugstore throw-aways, the foot-bed of a size 9 extended at least slightly beyond my actual footprint, providing ample protection and comfort all around. With these size 9 sandals from Evolv the back of my heel is directly over the back edge of the sandal, and the tips of my toes extend slightly beyond the front of the footbed. They may be passably adequate for a quick walk from the pool to the locker room (or something like that) but they are way too small for anything else.

do not buy, the sole will fall off

these are so comfortable, love the fit, but.... the rubber sole separates from the foam base in no time at all. i thought maybe it was an issue with the first pair i had so i purchased a second set, and within 1 month the rubber bottom has begun to separate from the foam sole again. Their customer service recommended re-gluing it, which i had done with the first pair but didn't hold, not super impressed find another pair of sandals that will last you longer than a month.

fit ok, I'd say the sizing tracks. Maybe a tiny bit of the small side. My bigger issue is longevity. I got these start of summer, and wore them all summer. Definitely heavy use, I put many miles on them mostly on sidewalks. I used them for fishing too, which definitely pushes flip flops to the edge (rocks, mud, slipping, etc), but I didn't go that much. Good for the price (not including shipping), but I expected them to be more durable. I would imagine they would be solid for less intense use, I literally wore them every day, sometimes for a couple miles

Very grippy and comfortable. Sizing is off. I normally where an 11.5 and ordered a 12 which fit my daughters size 9.5 and 10 feet. I have now ordered size 13 for myself and I think it will work.
