Why We Like The Evolv Zenist Pro LV Climbing Shoe
For versatile performance on plastic, we pull on the Evolv Zenist Pro LV Climbing Shoe. The EvoWrap closure system works with the contoured sole to give us a performance fit without needing to painfully downsize. When we're in the steep, the downturned profile helps us hold tension, and when we're on the face, the soft midsole helps us smear and hook effortlessly.

Excellent indoor bouldering shoe
I bought this shoe to exclusively climb indoors. I went up 0.5 EU size (42 EU -> 42.5 EU) and fit was snug but not painful, and heel fit was perfect. The velcro & lace hybrid system felt better than normal velcro from me coming from a Drago LV. It is slightly stiffer than Drago LV but still competent for indoor volume smearing. Toe patch works wonders for toe hooking and heel hooking was great as well. Highly recommend this shoe if you are looking for a excellent indoor bouldering shoe.

Read the two reviews below then take a deep breath and THINK. Why would Backcountry send either of these people a replacement size without getting paid, in the hopes that the person will be a good boy and actually send in the return in pristine, re-salable condition? In reality, people are more likely to try and game a good faith exchange algorithm than reciprocate the good faith. Ever look at the 2nd hand box in a certain other outdoor retailer? Smart alecs wear climbing shoes to death, then return them for full credit on an exchange for a new pair. Kinda like putting your skiis between two trees at the end of the season, to break them and activate the warranty. Nope: The right way is to order two sizes and send back the size you don't prefer. Some people's entitled narcissism is utterly laughable. I've patronized Backcountry for years and spent THOUSANDS with them; and have never had anything less than EXCELLENT customer service.

Wrong size

Same experience as them person that left the first review. Wrong size sent. Desired size not in stock. Have to package and send back the item and wait a week for a refund. Waste of time. I wish I read the first review before purchasing the item. Won't be shopping with Backcountry again.

Wrong size Arrived.

I was sent the wrong size in this shoe so I am unable to fit them on my feet or give them a proper review. I was told by the “experts” in the chat that these were listed in men’s sizing, they are actually listed in women’s sizing. Now Backcountry does not have my size in these shoes or any of the other shoes that I would like for an exchange. So I will be trying the regular volume versions of this shoe in a half size down. I don’t have any hope that the shoe will fit me. Returns are also a Joke with Backcountry. You have to literally pay for the item a second time to start an exchange, and then hope you will get a refund in a few weeks. Overall, my experience here has been pretty much a joke. I would recommend purchasing from elsewhere.

I wear a size 6.5 in the Evolv zenist LV (women’s). Would I be the same size in zenist pro LV?
