Great gravel tape

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer

This is the third time I've bought this tape for my gravel rig and overall I've been pretty happy. It's grippy with just the right amount of cushioning. My only pet peeve is the white lettering. I understand all handlebars are different, but it's dang near impossible to get the lettering uniformly spaced in a way that satisfies my OCD. So, with this in mind, you might want to wrap over the white letters and let the black letters show instead. Otherwise, the tape is perfect.

This tape has it all - grippy, cushioned, smooth. Great choice for my build of a Kotter chrome frame from the 1980's. Thanks!

JUNK: Holes worn from just a few rides!

Familiarity:: I've used it several times

This bar tape is terrible. Complete waste of money. I've used it for only 4-6 casual rides and it already has holes worn just behind the hoods. And no, this is not due to bad hand position - my bike fit is perfect. This stuff is simply made out of weak material. I expect more out of a a solid company like Fizik. Most bar tapes should be made to last at least a full season - fat chance for this stuff!
