Excellent product! We have a well-trained albeit energetic chocolate lab who spends a lot of time off-leash but sometimes needs to be corralled on busy trails. I love everything about the design of the Remi Runner. Each detail seems well thought out -- grab loop placement, d-ring for short roping, just the right tension in the bungee. The length is perfect, allowing Pete to enjoy being a dog with his nose to the ground without being underfoot. There's some fussing as you need to do some leash management, but most of the time it's hands-free which is dreamy. I haven't used it backpacking, but other than adding something else around your waist, the webbing is flat and thin enough that I suspect it wouldn't be an issue at all. 10/10 would recommend.

You gotta do the work if you want the lowest price! This item is $10 cheaper on fido pro's website. Make sure you mention that within 48 hours of purchasing! Luckily the gearhead who helped me out was understanding and refunded me outside that window. Leash is solid. Super solid. Great purchase.
