Why We Like The Five Ten Trailcross LT Cycling Shoe
Taking a sharp turn from the overbuilt mountain bike shoes Five Ten is known for, the Trailcross LT Cycling Shoe is built more like a trail running shoe with its minimalist, low-profile design. The idea is to have a shoe that performs well on the bike but won't hold us back when we're hiking or chilling at camp. Something that works well for scrambling up rocky portages with our bike on our back, bikepacking along an unfamiliar route, or building our own trails deep in the forest.

just get'em!
I have about 25+ miles of MTB on these shoes now and I will say they've been great! My first trip out was about an hour and a half in 22*F and my water bottle was frozen when I got to the car. Being the LT I was concerned about my feet getting cold but with some lightweight wool ankle hiking socks my feet stayed warm and never felt cold. If your feet are cold you aint peddlin!! Another hour and a half ride in 70*F with the same light weight wool hiking socks and never felt like my feet got hot. I had to stop in at the grocery store on the way home from a ride and they were very comfortable to walk in, they didn't feel rigid. They also worked great climbing up and down a waterfall I biked out to. They grip the pedals like Velcro and almost too well when you need to make minor foot adjustments. Overall, I have zero complaints so far. They did take a ride or two to break in but after that, everything is great!

Good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and nice looking. For a flat pedal bike shoe light in weight and ok for walking as well.

Great MTB shoe for narrow feet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for my 13 year old MTB mad son who has long and narrow feet - these are a great fit and much more lightweight than some of the other 510 shoes.

A step up in durability and protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shoes. I also have the Danny MaCaskill MTB 510’s whose soles have deteriorated after four years of rocky Northern New Mexico mountain trails. I’m gonna miss em, but the TrailCross’ are a step up in durability and foot protection. They’re a wee bit snug out of the box, but I still consider to be them true to size. Hope they perform and hold up as well as the Danny MaCaskill‘s did. I trust they will
