Why We Like The Five Ten Trailcross Pro Clip-In Cycling Shoe - Men's

From relaxing trail rides to blasting full speed down our local singletrack, we trust the Five Ten Trailcross Pro Clip-in mountain bike shoes to provide us with comfort and support all ride long. The Five Ten Trailcross Pro Clip-in shoes are the same Trailcross shoe we know and love but now with clip-in functionality, Made with a durable textile upper with integrated abrasion-resistant overlays, the Trailcross Clip-In Shoe is tougher than it looks and can stand up to aggressive riding. An EVA midsole absorbs shock and energy transfer from harder landings to keep us comfortable, and the impact-resistant toe box protects our toes from rock strikes. Five Ten's Stealth Marathon rubber outsole provides additional grip for clip-in pedals and has toe and heel lugs to aid when we have to get off the bike and hike. The lace and strap closure allows us to get the perfect fit, and the stiff but flexible shank allows for good power transfer while still allowing us to walk unhindered.

Very secure feeling shoe to use on the trails.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe has Boa which the fit can be dialed in. No complaints there. The liner sock feels good and makes my foot feel very secure. I use this with spd cleats, and it slides right into place perfectly. I really like the craftmanship and build of this shoe. I can't do velcro only shoes anymore as I feel about 1 hour into rides the velcro loosens up. Which can be an annoyance when climbing. The Boa strings are not metal but a nylon or thread.

Highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my riding style; gravel bike on fire roads and pavement. Easy, SPD engagement and release. Super comfortable with a true-to-size fit. For reference, I wear a US 11 shoe; EU 45.5 in Shimano and 45 in Specialized. Only issue I’ve had are the heel tabs being a little short to get a grip to pull the shoes on. Added pull-tabs to the heel tabs to lengthen them and they work fine now.

Really nice blend of 5-10 and Adidas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice shoe. Stiff enough to give good power transfer, flexes enough for reasonable hike-a-bike. Plenty of grip from the sole for stomping on the pedal when you're still fumbling around trying to cleat-up. Light enough with decent toe protection. Like the extended cleat mounting range. Like the boa system; good pressure distribution so the upper wraps around your foot without pressure points. Liked these enough to get a second pair while they were on sale.

Extremely chafed feet!!!

Made blisters and chafed feet! I bought it because of the look, and I wear it for hiking. But I can wear it even 2 miles, it hurts so much

Pedals great, hike-a-bikes comfortably!

Hike a bikes were destroying my xc shoes and i wanted trail shoes that had boa or ratcheting adjustments. These check all the boxes. Not only are they comfortable walking, but i couldn't feel any flexing when pedaling out of the saddle! The toe box is roomier than most shoes, but the retention system snugs everything down comfortably! surprisingly light for a trail shoe! very happy with these shoes so far
