I’ve worn the full-zip Buck Fleece on two relatively short hikes on cold days here in New England and I have to say I love this thing! It’s warm and super comfortable, and like most of Fjallraven’s stuff, looks great. It feels substantial, and looks like it should hold up for a long time. Fjallraven tends to be expensive, and I almost feel guilty for wearing it…until it’s cold out!

Hello All, I bought my first FJALLRAVEN Buck Fleece Jacket in November 2024, I am extremely disappointed with the pilling.

Love the look of this jacket and it warm. However I’m disappointed with the way it’s wearing. The a Insides of the arms are pilling really bad. This shouldn’t be happening to a jacket at this price

Bring it out in Black

Probably my favourite fleece. I own two. My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. Second is a Navy one bout a year old I save for best. No bobbling or damage looks great both wash well and have good warmth. I Keep checking back for a black one but to no avail.

I have the olive green color, have had it for 3 years now and it still looks brand new. Fits well. I got the medium, I'm 5,9" and 170 ish lbs. I have wide shoulders/athletic build and there is lots of movement in the shoulder/arm hole space which I think is great. Top quality fleece, considering getting another just in case they still making it.

The Dark Navy color is NOT as the picture shows. It is much darker. It is actually darker than the Graphite color in the picture. It is, in fact, a Dark Navy color, but the picture listed as Dark Navy is not representative of the actual color. Having said that, the fit is good and the jacket looks nice. I am 5'10", about 37" in the chest, and about 33" in the waist, and it looks good and feels like good quality. The hem rises a bit when lifting my arms directly above my head, but less than most garments, and I have good freedom of movement. 4 stars just because of the color mismatch, but if the other colors match their pictures, I'd say 5 stars.

Everyday wear

I bought this jacket for my husband a month ago, and he wore it during our trip to London. It's nice jacket for daily wear.

Geat fit and warm but...

This fits great and it's very warm, but the stitching inside the collar is already coming undone and the seam is coming apart. Have had this only for about 5 months now.

Favorite Fleece

I have MEC, and Arc'tyrex fleece but the Buck is by far my favorite. Love the high collar and over all look of it. I'm 6' 190 and find the large a bit big. I will definitely buy another color in a medium
