Versatile
Love everything EXCEPT the arms are super long! After one wash and carefully following the washing instructions, the coat has faded visibly on the seams. :( It's lightweight for running errands but warm enough in Canadian weather to walk your dog in.

Perfect for layering/warmer winters
So glad I have this coat. I live in SE Tennessee so winters are more mild than my original home in the Midwest, but the fit allows me to layer so I'm confident even during my travels this jacket is a one stop shop. I bought a large. I'm 5'2", 34J and usually wear a M/L top, size 12. The large fits perfectly, again, with enough room to layer a sweatshirt or sweater underneath comfortably. It doesn't look too big without the extra layer under it either. My ONLY super slight complaint is that the sleeves are way too long (which is a common complaint for me). If they were an inch shorter it would be completely perfect, but I think the cut of the coat is such that they're meant to be longer anyway. It's a specific thing for us shorter folks and it's not anything to make or break the jacket for me personally. I went out of my way to pay full price for it just to get the color I wanted (it was on sale at a wholeseller but didn't have the Acorn color in stock any more), which isn't something I do often. I've had similar coats that cost less but didn't fit as well, and the versatility, adaptability adjustability, potential longevity of this jacket makes it worth every penny.

Great New England winter parka
Wonderful parka that was great for colder New England weather. The sleeves were a bit long when I was wearing a large, but after weight loss, elected to buy a smaller size as I liked the winter proof so much. Did great in winter weather.

My favorite travel jacket
I bought this jacket in Nov 2023 for my work travel (mostly Seattle). It has become the perfect travel gear for both cold and rain over this winter season. What I enjoy most is - the length of the coat, the two additional pockets in the front (one outside front left and one inside front right) and the adjustable waist in the back. It will keep you warm, which I need, and has also kept my dry during a 20 minute walk in the rain without issue. I did size up in order to give myself additional room for layering, which was simply a preference. I’m now interested in purchasing a lighter packable style (as similar as possible) to replace my current rain jacket.

I’m 5’10 and the sleeves are a little short on me. Also the material is pretty stiff. Doesn’t siit down next to your body and makes that shuffling noise when you walk.

Cheap Zippers that Break Easily
A lot of Monday for a coat with pockets that have cheap, CHEAP zippers. I have spent easily $2000.00 on 4 jackets and the zippers are horrible. I would say the coats are great but the zippers make me want to return every coat I have purchased.

Great coat !!
Bought this coat for my wife over two years ago and she loves the light weight and warmth she gets from wearing this coat - she says she will never wear a different brand

My favourite everyday jacket
I bought my second one yesterday. The first one lasted about 3 years. I was wearing it frequently. I like the snug fit and it is suitable for my activity levels. This is not a winter jacket. It is not very warm. It is more like an everyday jacket for moderate climates. I do like the canvas material but the one thing I did not like is that it very quickly wore down and even after 1 year it looked like I had it forever. But still, very decent.

Awesome but the zipper needs work
I *love* this jacket. It’s water resistant, warm but not too hot, has great zippered pockets, and looks so cute. But the zipper is horrible. Idk if I just got a dud, but the dual zipper mechanism for some reason makes it impossible to zipper easily. I need to manually line up the two zippers and fit it in at the perfect angle for it to work. Super frustrating for an expensive jacket.
