Why We Like The Fjallraven Nikka Curved Trouser
Fjallraven's Nikka Curved Trouser has the same technical features and benefits as their Nikka Trouser but is built with more room in the hips, thighs, and waist for a more comfortable feel. The pre-shaped knees and stretch panels provide you with freedom of movement in case you come across any obstacles on the trail. Designed for long treks and weather that might get a little wet, the quick-drying, wicking material will help keep you dry. The G-1000 fabric has also been wax-treated for increased wind- and water resistance and the wax can be reapplied. Featuring a reinforced rear, knees, and cuffs, these durable pants can continue to be your go-to.

Great work pants!
Have been using as work pants for a year now. Hold up very well and are decently water resistant. As a bonus, got bit by a dog in these and only suffered a bruise + the pants were not damaged!

Nice pants but did not fit well
I liked these pants but the rise was too short for me. They would have been very uncomfortable.

Great function, not the most comfortable
I was looking for a more rugged pair of hiking pants and felt the Keb to be a little stiff so these seemed like a good alternative. I’ve used them several times now and have been happy with the function and pockets. They’re not as comfortable as I was hoping, the waistband is a little sharp though the curved fit is really nice, and I find that the seam on the back and the waxed cotton fabric chafes on my bum during long hikes. By the end of the day I couldn’t wait to take them off.

Great Quality outdoor pants!
Excellent quality, but I didn't realize it was the curved fit so clearly too large for me! I would also say that it is not straight pants but more a flare type. It is very long, but I believe it is meant to be tailored! I wore it once, and unfortunately, I got one stain that does not come off. I'm unsure what I do wrong when I wash it because all my Fjallraven pants have stains that never come off, which is annoying considering the price! I didn't return it because I was too busy then, which was an expensive mistake, but I am sure it is a great pair of pants!

Can’t recommend them enough
I’m 5’7”, 125lbs, with a 32” inseam. And I’m a weight lifter, so it’s incredibly difficult to find hiking pants that fit in the glutes. These pants fit perfectly. They are long enough, they have sufficient glute room, they actually stay in place when I’m moving and don’t ride up/shift around. And, they’re flattering! And they have pockets such that my phone can fit without impinging my movement, or pulling down the pants. So glad I found these.

Good pockets
Although I had ordered the long version because I have long legs, I had never guessed that the trousers could be too long for me. I had to ask someone to shorten them. The pockets are very useful, eg on a citytrip. The trousers are a pleasure to wear and they look great. I love to wear them in the city and on nature hikes. Though they were expensive, I would not hesitate to buy them again. The fabric is very comfortable, also when you sit down.

Quite possibly the best hiking pants I have ever put on my body. Wore them around the house and for a fast hike in our state park, then promptly ordered a second pair in a different color. What's so great about them? 1) The fit - no gaping waist or restrictive booty, just enough stretch and support in all the right places - they very long and need folding or hemming ( I am 5'6", 26" waist, 36" hips, wear a size 4 in most bottoms, bought EU36 in these); 2) the tech - sturdy, flexy, breathable fabric, good hardware, lots of smart pockets; 3) the look - snazzy details, shapely cut, great colors. I can hardly wait to wear them on long backcountry treks!

Fjallraven has quickly become my favorite brand. The curved line is especially great. I have several different pairs and the Nikka curved is the "dressiest" of them. The pockets are amazing and will ruin you for all other brands of pants. There's even a cell phone pouch inside of one of the bigger pockets so you don't have to go fishing for your phone. The styling is a bit more subtle on these, not quite as survival chic as the Kebs or the Vida Pros. As for sizing, I wear an EU 38 and I'm 5' 4", 130 lbs. They come with a very long inseam, and I will at some point hem them shorter, but for now I just roll them a couple times. The stretchy fabric is so comfortable and the rise is perfect, no plumber butt.

Super disappointing--weird fit
Not enough room in the crotch. Seriously people, how hard is it?

My favourite hiking pants
These are the best pants I own for outdoor use. I love the fabric, fit, and the pockets! I was concerned about sizing. For reference I wear size 30 in the Levi 721 High rise skinny jeans and usually find jeans don't fit my larger butt (gape at waistband). The size 40 fits me great. I also own the womens regular Vidda Pro's and prefer the fit of these pants.
