Singi Heavy Regular Fit Flannel Shirt - Men's

2 inches too long even for size S

I am 5'9". I ordered AUTUMN LEAF-DARK NAVY Size S but it is way too long (2 inches too long on my sleeves). They ran out of XS for the color. Otherwise, I love this flannel shirt.

First, my physical dimensions because reviews are most relevant to readers when you include them. I’m 6’ (182.9 cm), 175-180 lbs (81.6 kg), with an athletic, muscular build and I ordered size medium in the Dark Sand color and Autumn Leaf color. The shirts are made from the quality fabric and construction one expects from Fjallraven, however they are not “heavy” as claimed in the model name—they are instead middle weight. Heavyweight flannel fabric should be a minimum of 8 oz (227 grams) per sq. yard. I have a Filson flannel made with fabric of the above specs and it feels like a light blanket, much more substantial than the Singi “heavy” flannel. Though not the thickness I was expecting, mid-weight flannels have a place in the wardrobe and these look and feel great so I’ll be keeping them. Well, mostly keeping them; I might exchange the Dark Sand one for a replacement of the same color to hopefully resolve an apparent fabrication discrepancy. Strangely the Autumn Leaf fit was perfect in all dimensions, but the Dark Sand was a little shorter, on the cusp of too short, but not quite, and a little boxier around the waist. Perhaps the Autumn color-way is Fjallraven’s new “improved” fit and the Sand color shirt that I received is from a batch of the original design. I like my flannels to have enough room for a t-shirt or lightweight, long-sleeved base layer but no more than that, as I prefer a physique accentuating fit. Though these are claimed to be regular fit and not slim fit they appear slightly fitted on my body though not as fitted as the Fjallraven Skog. I also own a Skog flannel in size large and the medium Singi fits similarly to it. I don’t think I’ll be able to wash these shirts in any water temperature other than cold and they definitely will never see the inside of a dryer as they fit exactly right now and have zero margin for shrinkage. If you like to launder your stuff in hot water and dry everything in the dryer then you might consider sizing up if your stats are similar to mine, same if you prefer a roomier fit. They’re solid shirts that enhance sex appeal, and aside from the slight sizing inconsistency between color-ways I’m mostly satisfied with the purchase.

Nice shirt, doesn’t wash well.

Love the shirts, they feel great and fit perfect as new but having owned 3, including two recent purchases, they can’t be washed without shrinking. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter.  When I bought the shirts I shared my concern with the retailer as my first shirt shrank so badly,their advice was to wear a T shirt and not was them.

Excelent flannel

I usually don't take the time, or care to write down reviews. I got the orange-autumn coloured one last year and it's SO great. I can't wait for colder days so I can wear this again all the time. Very comfortable, nice and warm.

i picked this up with hopes that it could be one of my regular daylies this past winter. well made, midweight, and true to size. i will get another season or two out of it which is rare based on past purchases of similar brands.

I've worn this shirt a few times so far and like it more each time. Feels durable but comfortable. They really paid attention to the details. Fits the way I expected it to. I will get more.

For a $110 "heavy" flannel, this shirt doesn't cut it. An 8.5 oz/300gsm flannel is heavy weight. This isn't it. It's just a tad beefier than a mid-weight. It doesn't have the brushed softness that comes with a premium priced flannel. I've had this for 4 months and have probably worn it less than 20 times for low-intensity activity and already some of the thread at the front has come loosened or pilled. The front check pockets have started to curl too. I have not stuck it in the dryer since I've started wearing it. The roll-up sleeve options with the stays is a nice idea but is rendered useless if you can't bend your arms; it's too tight and restrictive. I see this flannel as being for office casual and cut for slim. Other than the restrictive arms when rolled-up, I like the fit. But in scared to put it in the dryer. Overall, the quality and cut is not worth the price. Not what I expected from my first purchase of a fjallraven product. I do like the patterns though.

Order a size up, nice material

I actually really like the material (thick soft cotton), but the shirt doesn't fit. Ordered a Large (like my other Fjallraven shirts) and this one sits right at the top of my belt, I'm 5'10" and 210. It shrunk after washing, seemed to fit before. I'll gift it to someone a little smaller than me.

A Stellar Shirt

I am a male, 5'7"- 36" chest, 130 lbs. I bought the Men's Small in Deep Forest. I love the softness of this well made shirt as well as the heftier feel to the fabric, sturdy without the bulk. I get so many compliments on the style and the Deep Forest colour, a very handsome addition to my growing Fjallraven collection.

I love this shirt! It?s my go-to once Fall comes around. Looks great and the quality beats out every other shirt I own. Modern fit with a classic look. This will probably last me 20 years!
