Would recommend
Have had this for almost a year now. I just wear it casually or while dog walking. Very stylish and great fit. Excellent build quality and reasonably priced for the product.

Exceptional quality!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- XL
Bought this for rowing/fly fishing and an upcoming trip to Chile. True to size with a slightly bigger fit making it perfect for layering in the cold and just loose enough as the day warms up, you don’t sweat.

What you would expect from Fjallraven's G-1000
I got this anorak as a present last year and I love it. You may hear or read comments from different people saying that it doesn't work as a raincoat and they are absolutely right, but neither does a dress shoe work as a running shoe. The G-1000 fabric works perfectly under heavy duty conditions, you wont need to repair this coat anytime soon and when the first hole appears you'll be counting the years you've had it with both hands. Apply Greenland wax (properly) if you want some resistance to light rain and windy days but don't expect it to perform as a rubber raincoat because it's not made out of rubber nor is it a raincoat. Absolutely recommend this product.

Great with one exception
Very nice except it’s missing a zipper on the kangaroo pocket which is kind of dumb since you by nature put an anorak upside down twice every time you wear it.

Poor in the rain
Is not rain proof, shoulders and tops of arms get wet even with the wax for the price very disappointed stick to Buffalo from now on.

Basically Perfect
It's basically perfect. I can see why people unfamiliar with Fjallraven g-1000 and their philosophy around waxing might be upset that it's not giving them Gore-Tex performance, but that's exactly why I like it. I have all kinds of membranes for situations where I'm trapped in downpours, but the thing I love about this anorak is that it's breathable and durable, and if I so please, I can add wax (which ins't what I want--this is an urban jacket for me). All the details are spot on; I like the firm grip of the snap that allows you to use the size zipper to dump heat rapidly. There's no silver bullet all-situations jacket out there, so it's not the fault of this product that people have specific qualities it never attempts to pitch. I love mine, and no, will not be using it as a rain jacket.

New Favorite Jacket
This jacket is amazingly functional and I love the adaptability! The fit is relaxed but very well fitted for athletic builds. I love all the pockets and pouches and the functional sleeve buttons. Truly my new favorite jacket!!!

Great quality, looks and practicality.
Excellent. Well designed and great quality. It’s quite loose and has space to wear layers underneath. Very practical and looks great. The zipper at the side provides good ventilation and access to pocket of any garment you wear underneath. Can be waxed to retain its water resistance.. Got a feeling this one will have longevity.
